  1. Torque, it's all about the torque
  2. How do you mean compare? Do you mean power? Style? Comfort? I wouldn't have a clue because I haven't drive a lancer before.
  3. Can't get a turbo skyline though?New laws still have the power/weight ratio. I have to admit though, I haven't read up about any of it.
  4. I learnt how to drive a manual on my way home from buying my r33 haha. It was a great learning curve. Hmm it depends how much you spend on the 34 over the next few years. I think it would be pretty easy to drop a turbo engine into it and a new computer. But it would be pretty costly trying to just bolt a turbo onto the NA engine.
  5. Nice! I've always wanted to have an RB25/30 but I never had the time, knowledge or money to be able to do it. I'm just going to push my neo until it breaks and then that will give me the excuse to do what you have done. Awesome job on the loom also!
  6. Hahaha I cracked the 4 door joke while he was writing his reply I think
  7. Are you in NSW because a track day just got announced in the events section. But yeah from what I have heard it seems a lot of people are happy with roughly 300kw for some good fun on the track.
  8. It comes down to preference then. Which do you like more the 2 door or 4 door. Just remember 4 doors more whores
  9. How long until you think you will be able to fire this thing up? Such a mad journey
  10. Probably more common than the 2 door and cheaper.
  11. One of the guys on here has a great example of a silver r34 non turbo. His happy with his purchase and I'm sure you would be happy with yours. Just don't expect it to be anywhere near as quick as a commodore or ford. The non turbo skylines normally struggle to even keep up with a lot of everyday cars. Test drive one and if you like it then purchase it. Play around with things like suspension etc and just enjoy it for what it is. But don't come back in here and start posting about bolting a turbo on to it while your on your green p plates. (That will cause a stir)
  12. You will always get used to the power and want to chase more, it's just the way things are. Remember that feeling of getting into your 200kw car and thinking it was quick? Well that's what 300kw will feel like for the first few months. I'm running 250rwkw and to be honest it's really good for the street because I have a responsive turbo. I find it hard to even use 250kw on the street without breaking laws.
  13. Sure is beautiful Richard
  14. Still keen to know if anyone actually used the universal rails to install their seats?
  15. I'll grab a set for the r34 GTT please if you still have them left
  16. Great work guys! Glad that no one broke anything.
  17. Did anyone end up fitting these with the rails that were supplied?
  18. It's a series 2 (with the fugly front bar) I'll check it when I get home. But from what I have read on here it should be. So if I spin the back wheel then the opposite side should go the other way? Hopefully the jap people didn't steal or sell it before I imported it haha
  19. 2000 model R34 GTT should have a helical centre right?
  20. I been putting 20-21psi through my R33 RB25 for nearly 2 years without many issues. This has been on just normal pump 98 With E85 you should be running 2 bar
  21. Yeah I can't wait to see how it goes. It's going to be running the SS1PU out of my R33 and I'm also going to try out scottys 1400cc E85 injectors. Only a month before I'm back from NZ and I can get started.
  22. Johnny that's awesome dude! I'm getting so jealous reading everyones builds and fun on E85! Can't wait to get home and start buying things for my NEO
  23. Everyone that I know smokes e cigs now days.
  24. Good luck guys! enjoy the weekend. Stay on the track Mat, try not to end up on your roof at the first corner.
