Checked for both of those thanks guys. Had a long inspection in and around the floor and under the car. Did a few short and long trips and checked for puddles after. Nothing and no signs under the car of anything going wrong. Car feels really weird to drive cold. (I am probably just paranoid as I have only ever driven an auto 323 lol) Dont know if thats just normal as its cold. By weird I mean changing gears isnt smooth as it kind of slugs into each gear. idles around 1100 then drops to around 900 I dont know hey will just have to see what they say when it comes back. Dropped it at Ultra Tune Fyshwick as they could get it in for a test today for $50

Cars going in this afternoon to get another pressure test. Wish me luck! The coolant just keeps disappearing and I cant find out where the hell its going. Engine stays cool all day every day. Still hearing the gurgling behind the dash even after trying the things the mechanic told me to. Fingers crossed its a loose hose!

Yep sweet the guy should be posting the ECU today some time. Just burped my radiator to get rid of that gurgling noise when I start it. Going to see how it goes now. Already had it pressure tested. Seems to be using a bit of coolant as well so I dunno yet. Hope its not a gasket issue or anything (no symptoms of this yet)

Okay thanks Troy. Guess I will just fork out the cash for a MSD window switch. It can be tuned a lot finer guessing thats why its around the $200 mark

Hey guys, Anyone know if a window switch with an RPM range - 2000 to 9900 Would suit the VCT in an R33? I been reading and most people have it come on around 1100. So its not on at idle. Opinions?

Thanks mate, Had a bit of a read through it all Even looked at their ECU awhile back. Think I will just stick with the R32 ECU and just get a Window Switch to controller the VCT. Wish I read the article explaining how one of those Electronic boost controllers has a VCT switch in it. I just purchased a Greddy Profec 2 for $379

Any opinion on which to choose. I could of people said the R32 has less issues

Hey guys, So I have been tossing up between the 2. Right now I am stuck and have read as much as I can up about both options. (yes I used search) So VCT can be controller for the R32 ECU easily via a window switch ($200 delivered) Z32 ECU has to be modified to plug into the harness. Which would you prefer and have you had any bad experiences? Right now I have lined up a R32 ECU for $100 delivered Let me know what you would do and which you prefer and why. Thanks, Kasko

Just jump on the phone and call around. Everyone will pretty much be willing to beat the other person. Just get as many quotes as you can Then go to one of the guys like listed ESP or Trojan and tell them what you were quoted. See if they can beat that Little off topic but I did this with my windscreen and saved myself $150 + got a new seal
