  1. $1000 would probably include sourcing the car costs but that's hardly the most crucial part of the process. I would say most of the work comes when the car lands here in Aus with clearing customs etc. I wouldn't suggest trying to organise it all yourself. Especially since you are so unsure of the process. It's a recipe for disaster. Email the guys at iron chef and I'm sure they would be happy to provide you details and costs.
  2. Awww I'm sure no news is good news when tuning. Most people would call if they came across issues.
  3. http://www.ironchefimports.com/ I just got an R34 through them and the car is amazing
  4. Setting a reminder to check this tonight haha can't wait
  5. I hired one from the BP petrol station in Phillip on Melrose drive. It was roughly $150 for the day I believe and it worked fine for picking up my Mazda from Braidwood. Trailer wasn't an old rusty one either.
  6. Oh man this makes me wish I had some solids savings. The parts alone are worth a chunk of the sale price.
  7. Haha just got back from a cruise with Adam above ^^^ We went to a car meet up in his 34 GTR. Met some really nice people and saw some nice/interesting cars. We also got lost but I wasn't complaining because we were cruising in his car. Might go buy a puppy this weekend Terry and go for a walk around the street here haha.
  8. When I get back I might chuck a new TPS on and see what happens.
  9. Looking good dude! I was devastated when I first heard it was in a crash.
  10. Meeting up with the NZ car crew tonight for a massive meet. One of the SAU guys is picking me up
  11. What ever it was it was inappropriate.
  12. Both and also played with the TPS. I think it's caused by a faulty TPS but I could never be bothered trying to work it out.
  13. Haha mine has been idling at like 1400 for the past 2 years. Tried to adjust and just gave up
  14. It seems like the scene over here is pretty spread out. But I see a lot of skylines driving around.
  15. Nice work Mik! It's coming along well
  16. Haha it's raining but hardly cold. Do you guys live near the city?
  17. Amazing shot and amazing looking car!
  18. Yeah I saw that response, I didn't think he would be that forward as well. It would be pretty stupid to say something like that and not expect it to get posted online
  19. Haha a lot of effort went into that post Rob. Nice work
  20. Have you got some nice coil packs to back it up? Just be mindful that if you are running old stock ones then it may have some missing issues.
  21. The weather is way better than Canberra. Everyone kept telling me it was going to be cold but it's like 18 degrees. Plenty of hot women near where I am staying because I'm right near a campus. Lots of imports driving around (they love the cube over here) plenty of nice r35's and lots of banged up r33's Umm chicken breast is really expensive. Costs like $16-20 a kilo. The country side is really really nice and the central city of Auckland reminds me of a larger version of civic. It's got hardly any traffic in the actual central city. Lots of homeless people in the city which is kinda sad. But plenty of charity things giving or hot meals and drinks.
