    So the engine bay in your picture is not yours? Because that has a front mount intercooler which isn't stock..? Only reason I ask is because the clearer picture we can make the more help we can be.

    It's not missing is it? That would explain why it happens in higher rpm and feels like it's bogging down. What sort of power are you making and what coils/plugs?

    They just require a rewire. I did that and saved a few bucks but looking back at it I would prefer to just spend the little extra and get the OEM one

    was the old muffler already doing a good job?

    Yeah I already received it and it's straight through without the chamber things etc. looks like it won't muffle very much but only time will tell when I install it. I'll chuck another one on if it needs it. Thanks for the info

    Yeah if you have a look at the boost graph on the below post. It ran one run at 15psi & one run at 19psi

    Does it matter if the muffler intake and exit are offset? I purchased the following from magnaflow before checking about that.

    Thanks for sorting it out Duncan! I think the community definitely still has value but sometimes things like that just go too far. Hopefully the guy hangs around and shares his build with us. It's not everyone's cup of tea but there are people out there who would enjoy what his doing.

    Yeah well that's the worst part of it. The guy is now never going to share his ideas or experiences again. I love this club and I love the fact we have so many different people throwing together so many different setups. But the fact that even the mods joined in to create a wasteland of his thread is just disappointing. I mean sex spec or what ever you want to call it is not for everyone. But it's his pride and joy which just got smashed to bits on a public forum. Also the fact he wasn't one of those guys who just joined and started to be a dick.

    Pretty glad I don't post in normal wasteland anymore. Just checked out some kids build thread where all those guys were being dicks and then the mods come in and join in with filling his build thread full of shit. The kid clearly had it coming but honestly a build thread is not the wasteland.
