  1. That was meant to say, are you busy Friday Rob?
  2. Might even tackle getting the locknuts off again. Are you working busy Rob?
  3. I'll wash it Thursday and take pics Friday.
  4. $279 delivered to the depot in Phillip So awesome Should be here Thursday night
  5. Oh that's good to hear thanks Kat. Do you normally do door to door?
  6. Yeah my r33's rolled guards turned out well. I'm only planning on rolling the inside lip and the paint seems to already be cracked from the rims that came with the car hitting it. Not fussed about having to give it a lock of paint though. My Aunty is organising the car to be picked up and delivered at home through her dealership. Should set me back about $300-350
  7. Decided to get the 34 trailered down here this week so I can store it at home for the 3 months. Too much of a run around trying to get too and from Sydney and swap rims and things over. When I get back from NZ I'll get the lock nuts off and roll the guards. Might buy some suspension so Its ready for when I get back as well.
  8. My Aunty picked mine up yesterday and I headed to Sydney to drive it home. But had to leave it in Sydney after issues with the car that I won't mention on here. It's safe to say I'm never importing again.
  9. Thanks for the offer mate, just worked out with my parents what we can do if Bryce agrees to it. Current plan is -Parents drive to canberra Saturday. -Wave goodbye to me as I head to NZ. -Pick up the stock rims and take them to Sydney. -Put them on the car and then take the car back down to coast to store it for 3 months. -They pull the rims back of when it gets to the coast and take the stickies back to Bryce in Canberra.
  10. I might take you up on that offer depending how things turn out next weekend. Thanks Bryce
  11. Tried to do that with the socket but it would have needed a fair wack. Didn't want to get stuck in a situation where I get a socket stuck on there and then need to pay someone in Sydney to fix it. Thanks for the idea though guys. Hopefully they have the locknut and if they don't then ill try see if any tire shops have one and then last method will be bashing a socket over it.
  12. Not at all, I'll have to try get it next Thursday night and drive back Friday because I fly to NZ for 3 months on Saturday
  13. Bald tires and lock nuts with no key to get them off. Workshop is closed so no chance in getting the key off them.
  14. Not sure what I have done to deserve this bad luck. But the car won't be coming home this weekend with me.
  15. I'm going to get a cover letter today to cover me for the next week. But insurance will be covered even while I'm in NZ incase of theft
  16. So I got to see/drive the car for tonight. Staying at my Aunty and uncles and it's parked out the front. I was filled with excitement and the car looks amazing, the paint is great and I love the pearl in the dark. First impressions when I went for a drive was that surprisingly enough my 33 feels 10x better to drive. I think the coilovers are shot so they will need pulling out and replacing with some nice springs & shocks. The clutch feels a lot different because I'm so used to my heavy duty clutch and my loose gearbox. Right now the rims are rubbing on the guards and have cracked the paint under it, similar to what happens when you try roll them without heating them. No backfires or anything but I took it easy because it's got no insurance and needs a good service. Wheel alignment is needed and probably all the suspension looked at. Very happy with the purchase though and I can't wait to get into some modding when I get back from NZ.
  17. Stock rims & tires sorry
  18. Would anyone have some stock rims I could borrow for the weekend? I'll pickup this afternoon
  19. My uncle is picking it up this afternoon. Went to send my cousin at lunchtime but they said they were waiting on the plates. Fingers crossed the plates arrive because otherwise I won't get it before I head to NZ for 3 months
  20. 33 is only third party, fire and theft with just car. But I will have a chat with shannons and Lumley special vehicles tomorrow to get quotes.
  21. Can I come pick up tomorrow night or Friday day? Going to be in Sydney picking up my 34 that just passed compliance
  22. THE CAR IS READY! Going to hopefully pick it up Friday or organise someone to pick it up tomorrow. Now suggestions for comprehensive insurance for a 23 year old male with no crash/suspension history?
  23. What traction? haha Awesome vid
  24. Haha I don't think anything can be too soon with how long it's been
