  1. It was without but we did the same test a few weeks back and got the 150-160 I'll give everyone a break down of how I did the test and I don't think throttle matters in this situation. -Unplugged injector plug. -Removed all spark plugs/coils. -Got the compression tested and wound it into the cylinder. -Turned the key over until it reached peak PSI and then stopped. -Recorded said PSI and moved onto the next cylinder.
  2. I wish I had the tools and experience to open it up and work out what's going on. I think I'll wait and find out if I'm going to South Africa or not and go from there.
  3. Tested less than a month ago and I had 150-160 across all six. Not sure how or what happened but as you said for an engine you need Fuel --> Spark ---> Compression I'm lacking one of them haha
  4. In the market for a little get around car until I sort out what I'm going to do. If anyone has any friends willing to sell something for a few hundred. Don't care as long as it runs
  5. Started up the car on Monday and it had a rough idle. Gave it a little rev and it stalled. Been trying to diagnose the issue for the past 2 nights. After checking fuel & spark I finally got to checking comp GAME OVER Cyl 1 = 90 Cyl 2 = 25 Cyl 3 = 70 Cyl 4 = 90 Cyl 5 = 60 Cyl 6 = 70
  6. GAME OVER Well thank you everyone for the help. But the comp test confirmed my biggest fear. Cyl 1 = 90 Cyl 2 = 25 Cyl 3 = 70 Cyl 4 = 90 Cyl 5 = 60 Cyl 6 = 70
  7. So ECU didn't show any faults at all. Ignitor pack does have a small crack in it so I really want to test another one. We tried to jump start it and got nothing. Going to go pick up the compression tester off Verms now
  8. Haha this has already been approved for season two! Hopefully it's a blown fuse or something stupid. Will the ECU talk thing pick up on a broken igniter?
  9. Located in Red Hill I would love a series 1 igniter module It's the one that sits on top of the cam cover
  10. Page 6 oh shit lol
  11. Trying to source a compression tester for tonight
  12. I checked the plug on the CAS I checked the fuses under the bonnet. Didn't check the ones under the dash yet. Got Rob and possibly Zeb coming around this arvo. So I will check fuses under the dash at the same time.
  13. Damn I wish I could go on a Tuesday! Once I get a little more annual leave I will book in a day with you James on a Tuesday.
  14. Cost me $30 to get to work today. If it doesn't get sorted tonight using ECU talk. Then I am screwed! Been looking at some nice 34's
  15. Ohhh haha I thought you meant you were having a bad day. Above picture is a bad day anyways
  16. Hopefully it won't. But I guess we will find out tomorrow.
  17. Thanks Patrick and everyone else for the help. Hopefully we can get it sorted tomorrow. Just did a search and ECU talk should work fine with Nistune.
  18. Nah the car is safe and parked under cover. It would be unsafe if I tried to roll start it because then it would be on the street
  19. Haha nah nothing in the intercooler pipe. Drove it to and from work as well for the week. Tried all different things Zeb such as pumping the gas, light pedal etc. If you both have the time to come over then I would love the help. Rob, the ECU talk would be a great help (I have never used one though) And Zeb your wise mind would be great as well. If I could find an ignitor then that would be perfect.
  20. If you have the time Rob Working late? lol I don't finish until about 5:30 so that works out perfectly fine. Does your 33 have the ignitor on top of the cam cover?
  21. Does your ECU talk come with a lap top?
  22. Yeah I have a really steep small driveway that's at the bottom of a hill. So once it's down the driveway then there is no way I would get it back up there. Also it would mean leaving the car at the bottom of the hill and pretty far from sight/sound I would love to roll start it Duncan but it would probably be last resort unless I had some rope to tow it haha Rob can I come pick it up tomorrow arvo from you?
