  1. Wow that far away haha I was going to say I would come pick it up tonight if you would let me. But that would be like 45min away.
  2. What does ECU talk normally do? Where does it plug in? Are you south side or north side Rob?
  3. Didn't change the battery Sin because it had plenty of power to crank the engine about 12 times. Not sure if that's a mistake and I should have done it anyways. I haven't got a multimeter so can't test voltages. I wouldn't know what voltages to expect from each part either. Does anyone know if ECU talk works with Nistune?
  4. It's running a Nistune Chip Duncan. The strangest thing is it idled and worked this morning for the few seconds until I went to take off. That's when everything cut out and it just wouldn't start. Has anyone got an R33 ignitor that I could try unbolting and using? It's only 4 bolts on the top of the cam cover to remove it I might try the clutch starting idea but I will need to get some mates over to help push it up the hill. Might try that if the ignitor doesn't work
  5. If anyone has some time. Pop into my thread in the ACT section. My car currently won't start CLICK HERE
  6. Titan I also checked the CAS plug and its in there secure
  7. Okay so the car is still sitting in the driveway and isn't starting. Bryce came around with tools and Shane (Wilderboy) -checked the return fuel line and it sprayed fuel everywhere so I checked fuel off the list. -triple checked the plugs and they were all secure. -pulled out the spark plugs and they all had fuel on them but no oil. -plug the spark plugs into the coil packs and check if they had spark, all of them did. -put it all back together and tried to start it. No luck it just sits there turning over but not starting. The ignitor pack on top of cam cover does have a crack through it but the spark plugs had spark..
  8. Hit me up with a PM if you can't remember and I will send it to you. Haha I thought I could hear the grumble of your RB beast
  9. Nah I didn't do the throttle body at all over the weekend. Decided to leave that and do it the correct way with the paint stuff
  10. Haha I will bring the drinks! What do you guys drink?
  11. Verms has said he might come around as well. 3 minds are better than one manual haha Bryce you are more than welcome but don't you live on the North Side?
  12. I disconnect them every time I go away for a weekend. (Heads up to the robbers lol) The car started the same as it has every day and didn't seem any different. The only difference was a slightly different note to the idle, however it was sitting fine at 1000rpm The car rolled as I clutched out and gave it a little revs, about half a meter and this is when it stalled. I can hear the pump prime and stop like normal so that leads me to believe it would have fuel pressure? I will have to check about if the fuel is pumping correctly. Where should I be checking this? My thought is to disconnect the line just after the fuel filter. The plugs were changed about 10,000km ago and I checked them about 1,000km ago when doing a compression test (All looked fine bar 1 that had a little oil due to a leaking cam cover gasket, this has been ordered and will be replaced) I cleaned all the oil from around the area to make sure it does not happen any time soon. I was worried about attempting a hill start and not being able to get it home if this fails due to the hills in my area. The car was running fine when I parked it on Friday night. Edit: No immobiliser and plugs are both plugged in (Heads up to the robbers again lol, I have a shotgun)
  13. I actually got one of the guys dropping me home from work so I will be home at about 6:00
  14. That would be awesome if it comes to that As Troy said I don't believe it should be the battery. It does crank but just doesn't start. I have had a flat battery before and found that it couldn't even crank. So it hasn't got to that extent.
  15. Also doesn't come with Rego because I'm going to cash that bad boy in haha
  16. It conked out as I went to take off though so that's what made me really worried. Verms I'm on south side in Red Hill. I would really appreciate it if you have the time but I won't be home until about 6:15 If you're more than happy to then I would love the help. (Just don't go out of your way if you have other things planned)
  17. Okay forsale guys $25,000
  18. Does anyone want to come over with jumper leads tonight if all else fails haha?
  19. The car you were looking for is not available. It may be already sold or no longer for sale.
  20. Yeah I wouldn't know how to work out the start ya bast. Do I just spray that into a vac hose?
  21. Oh god I hope it's something simple
  22. Okay so after messaging Troy and further explaining myself. It cranks but does not start haha
  23. Haha how did that comment lose you?! I said I'll check it this afternoon and try tell what it's doing.
  24. Hey Troy, So I don't know the difference in the noise between those two steps in the start up you are talking about. Ill have to wait until I get home this afternoon. Might try get a video of it and send it to you. I'll post up here this afternoon around 6:30 when I get home and start getting my hands dirty. Hopefully I can sort it out before work tomorrow
