Anyone feel like going over a weld on my intercooler pipe tomorrow? I know it's Sunday
Filled it with water and found where it was leaking one of the welds has 2 small holes
I'm really unsure what happened.
I took it to a local Canberra tire place.
Seems very strange that they allowed it to be so different for both sides. Makes traction very strange in the wet. I was thinking with arms I could get it to almost flush.
Okay awesome.
So they have bushes that allow you to adjust up to 0.75%
I was thinking of getting them for the front
And camber arms for the back to adjust the most.
What do you think?
Or should I be getting camber arms for the front as well.
Yeah you can really notice that one wheel is different to the other.
But I always though 3 degrees was like those epic stance cars?
or is 3 degrees pretty reasonable?
Hey guys,
I have never been completely happy with how my 18x9.5 +22 rims sit on my car.
So I decided to call up the place who did the wheel alignment and get the specs for the camber that they put on it.
Below are the details
Front Left: -2.27deg
Front Right: -1.14 deg
Rear Left: -1.39deg
Rear Right: -3.69deg
Does this sound right? I always thought 3deg camber was something the fan boys did
I'm questioning if he actually gave me the correct info.
Looking at some whiteline camber arms to help correct this.
If it hit a wall at 250 and pinged then I don't think holding 20psi through the whole rev range is going to really help anything. I'm going to keep searching and try find the issue
Putting this out to you hypergear guys
But would a leaking cam cover be enough of a boost leak to cause issues?
Just got a gasket for mine because I noticed how bad it was leaking
Yeah the back plastics on mine have plenty of cracks.
That's the reason it keeps coming back.
Tried to use silicone to seal up the cracks but it's not working.
I'll have another check this weekend and see what I can do before purchasing them.
More updates coming soon because I have plenty to tell
But I have some recent purchases some cam gaskets (Thanks Rob for the link haha)
Also exhaust wrap, larger radiator, magnaflow muffler & 3inch cat converter
Woop woop
Got myself a clutch from KB clutches in Sydney. Pretty sure Kat is running one from them and so is sweefu or stinky (one of those r31 guys)
Cost me $410 delivered and its holding up 250kw very well. Heavy duty organic
But if you tell him what you want he can make it
