The day of the week kills me! Can't do anything mid week in my position. I have to do weekend track days. But I have been checking out Wakefield and you can get on the track some weekends for only $150 You can travel down again and rip some skids

Haha $500 is the backyard price with no receipt! Its around $750-$1000 if you want it done by a workshop. Thankfully I have found a bloke that knows what he is talking about and takes his time to do it right

Decided to also clear up my headlights. So many different options on how to go about this and I chose one and just dived in! Metal Polish! AMAZING! Before After I think the results speaks for itself! Around this time as well I noticed my rims were scrubbing on the guards a little bit. So I purchased myself a heat gun, hammer and time haha Not many photos of this but here is one that I could dig up. It doesn't show much but you can kind of make out that I folded the inner lip up. This was enough to give the rims clearance.

With the SAU 2012 Nats fast approaching and the car coming together. I decided to do some general maintenance and check over the car. Changed the oil and decided to flush the radiator when I came across this! (This also could have happened earlier in the year but for the sake of the timeline lets chuck it in here) Ended up going to Nat Rad in Canberra and asking their opinion. One of the jap websites sold a replacement for about $90 but I didn't have that cash for a small pipe nor the time. Nat Rad ended up finding a bit of pipe sitting and around and gave it to me for $5.00 I smashed it in with a hammer and its holding together to this date!

Coilovers went in and the car sat there for a few days. While I waited for RIMMMSS!! wooohoo After hanging around the offset thread, I had finally decided on some rims. I went with Varrstoen 2.2.1's 18x9.5 +22 Ordered them and a few days later they arrived. I quickly got to sorting out the tires and decided on some 235/40/18's What do you think of the results?

I probably won't be going this month. Already taken 3 days sick leave this week. But I'll be aiming for something in the coming months. Getting my car sorted with all the small bits I have been neglecting first

Sounds pretty awesome! I had lots of fun at the Skyline Nationals and wanted to get out on the track again. Going to get my temps under control first so I can make the most of it. I'll just call in sick for the day and head to the track haha. From what it said on the website you can only take passengers if they have a license as well. Did this get enforced when you guys went?

Hey guys, Anyone been to these events? I never bothered to check them out but I noticed that are fairly well priced for $150 weekends and $120 weekdays. Just wondering if anyone knows how much track time you would normally get? Also if anyone would be keen on coming up to one with me in the coming months.
