He didn't get a quote from them. But someone at his work said $150 labour + a case of jimmy (I supply the bearings) But honestly it wouldnt be that hard to put the bearings in myself. Or at that kinda cost I can pick up a second handy

Got a lot of play in it. When coming on and off throttle it has a lot of slap to it. Pulled it out and shane took it to the diff place today, they said it needs new bearings

Revived this thread to see if anyone has some answers to my question. I have an r33 S1 and my diff has been making a thud and squeek as you throttle on and throttle off. I jacked the car up and the tail shaft has the same thing with about 1cm or so of play. When moving the tail shaft you can actually see the parts move coming out of the diff to each wheel. This is with the handbrake on I pulled my diff out and now am trying to work out what I should actually be doing with it. Someone has quoted me $150 + a case of jimmy to do a rebuild but im waiting on details from him to actually know what his rebuild involves Any help would be appreciated

Lol sorry gav! never replied The pump thing never ended up working Way to many hoses etc that let the air out Ended up taking it to get a smoke test and they said the welding on my intercooler pipe is leaking slightly When they said it they didnt seem to convinced they had found the problem.

Wouldn't mind knowing about the new CS as well. Had a game on source after many years of not playing and loved it! Hitboxes in chivalry are pretty hard to get used to. Archers also suck! Still a great game for a few hours of fun
