  1. Understandably a number plate wouldn't but the series 1 R33 has a reo bar and the front bar blocking a pretty large area
  2. Problem with a mail tune is again no one gets to see how his car reacts to the chip. Again all mail chips tell you to go get the A/FR's checked to make sure it's safe. Toshi is a person who can flash your current tune and dyno it and re tune for as little as $700 re using the stock ecu. His located in the business traders section and comes from Sydney. Not sure if that helps you because I'm using my mobile and can't see your location
  3. Hey guys I had a search and couldn't find anything so just creating this. Does the series 1 r33 front bar restrict airflow to the front mount intercoolers/radiator or is it such a minimal thing you would not need to worry about? I have seen plenty of cars still running the stock front bar with the part cut out to show the cooler and others with just the stock look.
  4. As ash said and also what ever your tuner is more comfortable at tuning. He is the guy doing it so maybe this is a question for him? If he likes link more then obviously he is more comfortable with that product so will do a better job and vise versa
  5. Yeah seriously better to make sure it's okay for even $150 to get it checked over by someone. I personally wouldn't keep driving a car not knowing if it's about to blow or not. As the others have said an engine change will cost a lot more then an inspection and if it really needs a tune then that will still probably work out better then a new engine. Don't buy a performance car if you can't maintain it

  9. My actuator is a 20psi one haha Otherwise I would do that. Might swap it for a 16 with stao before I get the tune
  10. Thought about that dude But I want it working from 8 or so psi not my low boost setting. I guess I will just always keep a 50/50 mix around in the car
  11. Yeah I understand that I will be running 50/50 with the tune. Everyone can drive off boost so even of I run out its not the end of the world you can still drive around off boost right? Just not thrash it
  12. Just straight water until I have time and money to go up for a tune.
  13. So it wouldnt cause issues such as leaning out higher in the rev range due to more power being made? The tune of course isnt on the edge but just wanted to make sure. The lowest boost I can run is 20psi So thinking of just strapping the kit on and start boost at 8psi all the way through. Also just using straight water until we go to tune it.
  14. No damage. Actually I didnt have the heat gun and gave it a smack with the hammer and cracked the paint a tiny bit. But if you just user a mallet + heat gun you should be fine. Every place that does it for $50-100 a corner says "50/50 chance paint will crack" So I mean what have you go to lose?
  15. So I got the snow performance kit stage 2 Just saving some money and then going to drop by and get JEZ to have a crack at it. Few questions. Can I run this without a tune and be safe for the time being if I decided to install it? What nozzle should I be using on a 270-300kw setup? What boost should I be starting it at if I am maxing 20-21psi? Cheers guys
