Yet another example of a clocked GTR. It would be interesting to know just what % of R34 GTR's in Oz have genuine km's with solid supporting documentation. I suspect well under 25%. I'm currently advertising my Nur, with fully documented km's, japanese and Aussie service records etc etc, yet it gets compared with cars like the above with lower km's showing on the speedo and dodgy docs. Crazy. The people I feel most sorry for are the guys that don't do all the research and end up buying a 150,000km car without knowing. And Fair Trading NSW don't want to know. Great...

Hi Lou, The car was exported from Japan in 2007. I had been searching for the right car for a long time. A contact of mine gave me the heads up that the owner was looking to sell and I contacted him. I don't know if he was on SAU. If you PM me your email address I can email you both the export docs from Japan and also the compliance docs when it was imported. Cheers Andy

Thanks Sleptema. It certainly should be driven (it's just too great an experience not to) but I do hope the buyer sees it for what it is, as it's worth a lot more 100% original than if it's got lots of mods.

This is one very reluctant sale. My immaculate 2002 V Spec II Nur. Being offered on SAU first so hopefully it finds a good home in our community. Those of you that know this car will attest to the fact it would be in the top 5 cleanest cars in Australia, inside, outside, and underneath. Truly a very rare find which took me 18 months to find when I was searching. 60,000km fully documented with all books and manuals from brand new. The car has a Kakimoto Regu 92-Z stainless exhaust and bilstein coil overs. Other than that it is 100% original. Original exhaust and suspension also comes with the car. Hi Guy's, Our resident photographer John took some great shots from Bathurst last weekend. I've selected some of the GTR. As you can see, they sent a pretty serious team from Japan and were absolutely on the pace. Good to see this sort of stuff is starting to get more focus. When I was looking for a car I found numerous examples of R34 GTR's, freshly imported and being sold by dealers that had wound back odometers. It was very simple to track the car to the auction sheet and see the original km's. Just astounding that Fair Trading turn a blind eye to this.
