  9. If I posted a picture of the loom, could tell me which loom it is? What part would you need to clearly see so you could tell exactly which series it is (e.g. plugs for the coils, etc)?
  10. Hi all, Not sure if anyone has asked before (probably a yes) but, can anyone help and tell me if there is a any difference between a Series 1 and Series 2 RB25DET loom? Eg.. I might get my hands on an series 2 RB25det, if I get a Series 1 Loom will I be wasting my money? Cheers in advance Rob

  12. Rare 6 speed manual. It is one of the best looking cars around. Amazing 6 cylinder sound, that only a Nissan can provide. Low Kilometres (37000km), selling due to funds required for project car. Quick car, great handling a real head turner. Standard 19 inch Nissan wheels, huge disc brakes, 4 pot caliper fronts & 2 pot caliper rears. Beautiful lines/shape, Pearl white in colour, brushed aluminium on inside with black leather. Electric everything. Dual Climate control. Auto sensing headlights as well as Reversing camera and side camera on passenger side mirror. AFS (Adaptive Front-Lighting System) automatically turns on low beams according to vehicle speed and steer to provide more light through the corner. Multiple Airbags, bonnet protection system for pedestrian collisions.DVD player, stereo with Hard drive for storing music. Bluetooth hands free. Seats 4 adults fairly comfortably. The only non-standard items on the car is the quality Japanese stainless steel 70mm exhaust (Tanabe - Medallion) cost $2000 from centre to the back 2 mufflers, standard exhaust is also included also 2 brand new BLITZ panel air filters that sit inside the standard air boxes, a month ago. For non-vic buyers am happy to source price for interstate car freight. Comes with RWC and 5 months VIC registration. Price includes pesonalised slimline number plates, "GT3700" !! This vehicle is almost exactly the same as the Infiniti G37 that is now being sold in Australia at twice the price! 13. At this stage I am only looking to fit a cat back exhaust system & and an Intake just to help in the beautiful sound the Nissan V6s make . With my research, however, I am still getting mixed responses as to if it a direct fitmant (Cat Back) exhaust system. I think it will be ok.
  14. So then, if there is no active rear steer, then it should be fine?? I had one company one company - "www.Exoticspeed.ca" - say that they have supplied the UK with systems without issue, but then again you never can tell unless you have actually done this modification with one of their products. I'm just doing my research at the moment before I buy my V36, its on order and they are currently searching for manaul Type S in either Dark Grey/Pearl White/Silver. In other words I don't know if a Type S CKV36 will have the active rear steer or not.... I think the Type S and SP do come with rear steer.
  15. Hi all, I have been trying to find out if any of the Infiniti G37 coupe parts available in the US are in any way compatible to the Nissan Skyline CKV36? The main difference between the two is obviously the Left and Right and drive of each vehicle, but can a (for example) cat back exhaust for a G37 coupe fit on a V36 coupe? Or are intake filters the same.... I have no idea if the steering rack would interfere with intake or exhaust if using parts designed for a G37, to be fitted to a V36. Any one else thinking the same?? The prices in the states are pretty damn good!! Cheers, Rob
  16. They way they both look is always a taste thing... But at the end of the day the Skyline is finished off better and is quicker and is less likely to leave your forehead indented into a 100 ft gum tree!
  17. Hey all, Been following imports 4 quite a while now... since the early 90s!!! My all time fav car is the awesome Nissan Skyline GTR!! By far and away the best value for money and kick ar%e car there has ever been!! I have owned... Back in 1996 - 1992 Nissan Silvia Ks Manual (Charcoal Grey) Stock with an exhaust (Dump pipe & Cat back Kakimoto Racing exhaust) Back in 2003 - 1992 Nissan Skyline GTR - R32 (Silver with blue pearl) Stock with an exhaust ran a 13.03 at Heathcote. Then after a problem fitted a rebuilt RB26 with HKS Stage 2 cams, adj cam gears, replaced ceramic turbine wheels with steel and Power FC computer - produced 245 rwkw on 13.5psi. Back in 2006 - 1996 NIssan 180SX with Type X look (White), Tien Suspension with camber tops(which I still have and looking to get rid off, 2 shockers need to be rebuilt), exhaust and a set of 18 inch wheels) I am currently in the process of purchasing a 2007/2008 Nissan Skyline CKV36 Manual Colour is still a problem, not sure yet (probably go with White pearl or Charcoal Grey... Carn't wait!!!!! Cheers all, Rob
