im looking for some wheel studs with 10 to 15mm extra length. anyone know where i can find them, or have any they want to sell? I want 10 of them...

managed to do a 24 hour strip down and rebuild of timing and cooling. car will be on the road for saturday but not confident about a hills cruise..... should be able to make it to the lunch..... unless i have another drama

straight fit, no dramas, as long as you get the body and trans types correct. just remember US equivalents are 2 years newer (jap 2002 = US 2004)

i think this pipe is definitely an issue, even though it looks factory the way it is.... Ive just installed my original housing, with the thermostat cut out, and the overheating problem has gone away....

that pipe on mine goes across the front of the motor, and goes back to a fitting on the passenger side of the motor above the a/c pump.... a brass thing with two pipes... and the other pipe goes back behind the motor to, i think, the heater core it is obviously the low temp bypass..... mine just feeds into a different location. I was thinking it should be joined into the thermostat so that it heats it up and opens the valve...

The thermostat housing has 2 pipe fittings... one large one for the bottom rad hose, and one small one.... The original thermostat on mine didnt have the second pipe..... where as my replacement does. Can anyone tell me where this small pipe goes and where the other end is joined on their car? I currently just have it blanked off...

I wish...... it has a single mechanical fan. everything that affects cooling has been replaced except for water pump and head gaskets.... water pump is on order but wont have time to swap it til after the meet. it runs fine in the city so i'll just live with it for now and maybe install a housing without a thermostat til then while the thermostat is off i should be able to drop a snake cam into the motor and have a look at the pump's fins

i will be unable to do a drive thru hills or over 80kmh due to overheating issues.... the thing boiled over on me going up the expressway last night... oh joy
