regarding the supercharger sound, you can always upgrade to an electronic clutch pulley so that the s/c can be turned off...
i had this setup on a previous car, with the SC constantly running i got 250km from a tank of petrol, with it switched off i got 400km. it also had an automatic setting with a vacuum operated switch that would automatically engage the the SC when the sensor detected a certain level of vacuum (or acceleration load) within the inlet manifold.
So at the switch on my dash, i could leave the SC and its noise on all the time.... turn the SC off to save fuel and kill the noise it made.... or have it kick in automatically .
