  2. fuel pump still primes when key is turned on so guess the power and earth is allgood? i tried removing the fuel line but it just doesnt wanna come off so i squeezed it abit when priming and the line expanded which means theres flow

Ok i have a r32 with a rb20det a bosch 0 580 fuel pump (i think is a 700hp pump) with a turbosmart fpr (fpr-800) the car broke down while i was driving tried to start it but wouldnt start as the fuel pump was not working. checked fuse and relay in the boot and was algood so thought it was the pump as i have been running my gas pretty low lately and sometimes my fuel pump would make a different noise which only came on when my gas was really low so thought i had stuffed up the pump. Had a spare walbro 500hp fuel pump which is wayyyy smaller then the bosch fuel pump and installed it. Tried to start after installation and still no fuel pump noise so i checked the other relay where the cap is and found that it was not grounded properly so the fuel pump wasnt stuffed after all..(i know should hav checked it in the first place) pmo. anyway after grounding the relay again fuel pump was working again and car started. I let it idle (to warm up) and after about a minute it just turned off by itself and wont start anymore. just wondering if anyone who has more knowledge out there could help me out. before i chuck back the bosch fuel pump back in and see if that works?
  4. Ok sweet thanx guys yeah think I'll go for the 225 for the 9.5 and get 215 for the 9s and just save up some money to get my guards rolled
  5. Hey guys i bought a set of drift teks 17x9 35p with 225/45/17 tyres and 17x9.5 18p with 245/45/17 tyres. I have a 4 door r32 gtst and was wondering whether I should go for 215/45 or 225/45 for the 17x9.5s as I know i can't fit the 245s on the back. Im goin to hammer my rear guards. I'm thinking the 215 would be the way to go since I don't have money to roll my guards atm lol Any help would be appreciated
  6. oh that would be mean. How much would that cost? oh and found out why it was so laggy.. i replaced my 25det turbo with a 20det turbo and noticed how heavy the wheel was of my steel wheel 25det turbo. it hardly spun compared to my mates standard 25det turbo. now boost comes on ALOT earlier almost no lagg but i miss the pull of the 25det turbo..
  7. Yeah I got the car like that. Yup im guessing it was chipped for everything by the previous owner. Yeah got a screamer but yeah the wastegate is opening properly. I'm not sure if it's been high flowed but my mate has a standard 25det turbo and my exhaust side is different to his so yes maybe?
  8. Hey guys I have an r32 with an rb20det. Ive had it for about 5 months now and has the following mods rb25 turbo (steel wheeled by Steve murch) z32 afm gtr injectors walbro pump turbosmart fuel reg frount mount allloy intake pipe waste spark setup 3.5"exhaust stainless dump pipe 38mm tial waste gate chipped ecu A/c removed Turbosmart boost controller Its currently running 14psi and full boost doesn't come on till 5500rpm but pulls hard all the way to the redline which is too much lag for my liking. Any ideas on why it is so laggy? Any help would be appreciated
