  1. How old are they? How many kms have they done?
  2. R33 gtst rotors are 296x30 so i hope the buyer doesnt want to use them on an R33.
  3. PM sent. They were pretty easy. It might be a bit harder if they werent all italian. Its a shame sau is blocked at work or i could waste my days on pointless crap like this. PS. Let me know if your not happy with the name of the Alfa. Just found out it had a couple of names and wasnt just a prototype.
  4. I agree. Its not that bad. For most cars i doubt fuel would be as bad as Ash suggested. It been a while since i drove up but i think i was doing Melbourne to Sydney in 2 tanks. Im interested, but it will depend on if i can afford it at the time.
  5. At least you can get a parking permit. Back when i lived in Southbank a couple years ago I couldn't get a parking permit because too many had been issued for the area. When ever anyone stole my spot in the garage (happened regularly) i had to pay to park on the street. If the ticket machines don't work they won't fine you (since you can't buy a ticket) so one option would be to go out and smash the machines each night. As a bonus I know a few people at work that will thank you for the free parking.

    Penguin Game

The penguin game was great but it got so much better when all the modified versions started popping up, like this one.
  7. Change me to just Friday night. Thanks Bec.
  8. The car isnt as much fun with the semis, it needs more power. And when i used them at DECA i killed the diff. I think it will be a lot easier on the car to run street tyres.
  9. I've got a few things to check over the weekend. If everything is fine ill be putting my entry in on Monday. I think i'll need some new tyres. I don't really want to use my semis, but if i do use them will i need a harness since ill be in modified?
  10. Could it be for an R33. It doesnt look like it would fit an R32 gtst.
  11. Put me down for both nights.
  12. I'll be going up for the weekend, but i haven't decided whether i'll drive or not. If i'm not driving then i'll help out with flagging and recovery if needed.
  13. I had a great weekend. Thanks to the organisers for running such a great event. I cant wait for the next one. I wasnt expecting to do very well after seeing the times for the long wang, but it looks like i made up a bit of time on the skid-pan. Im happy with 10th.
  14. Thats interesting since H3Cs have a 2 prong plug. Maybe your thinking of H4s with the 3 prong plug. From what i've heard the earlier R32s have H3Cs and the later cars have H1s. My R32 had H3Cs and i couldn't find any decent globes so got a set of philips H3s and modified the wiring to suit. The lights are still not that good but it was a huge improvement over the original globes. In a 93 i would have thought you'd have H1s.
  15. Would tyre distortion be a problem at the top of the tyre? I was thinking about this last night and figured the tyre would only be distorted around the area in contact with the road (the bottom of the tyre).
  16. I have a set of 17x8 +35 Enkei WTEs with 235/45 RE540s that I bought a while ago for my R32 gtst. I know of a couple other people who have run this size and offset rim on r32s so didnt expect to have any trouble fitting them. When I initially fitted them I thought the inside of the tyre was hitting the front suspension, so I took them off and they have been sitting in the corner of the garage ever since. Over the weekend I put them back on to have a closer look and found that they don't actually hit anything, but are extremely close to hitting. The first 2 pics below show the clearance when the wheel is straight. Theres about 10mm clearance which I dont think will cause any problems. The next 2 pics show the front of the wheel turned away from the car. The clearance is the same or possible a bit more than when the wheel is straight, so that shouldnt be a problem. The problem is when the front of the wheel is turned towards the car. As the next 3 pics show, the clearance gets down to 2-3mm. The clearance will only be this low at full lock, and im unlikely to hit full lock under normal driving conditions, but should the wheel be that close. I was looking at using some small spacers, but after reading a bit about slip-on spacers i'd rather not use them, and the smallest bolt-on spacers i've seen are 15mm which i think will push the wheels out to far. So my question is, do I need more clearance & if so how can I get it. Narrower or lower profile tyres would give a bit more clearance.
  17. how many of the A048s do you have and how much tread is left on them?
  18. Are these still for sale? Where are you located?
  19. I found the Nash pretty quickly on Tuesday but havent had time to look for the others. Definitely a lot harder than last time.
  20. Put me down for one in large.
  21. You can put my 17s on it for a while, but i might want them back for deca.
  22. Yeah, least points wins. Blaise won by a lot.

    Google Earth

Can you even look at your house? Last time i looked it was all blurred from around your place down to around Albert Park. My place and work were in the blurred section.
  24. So should we be putting the answers to the competition in this thread or sending them in a PM like CrispyFries did. I've got all the answers but dont really wont to ruin it for everyone else, i guess ill just PM them to Bec.
