  1. Buy a R31 and do your "enthusiast apprenticeship" on it. They are cheap, fun and it won't matter if you break something, not as much as an import anyway. Nothing worse than dropping $10 000+ on your first car and being too scared to mod anything, or modding things and making beginner mistakes costing you $$$$.
  2. I'm here to see what on earth he was trying to get across with that title. Mobu etc
  3. That's the confetti you asked for. I don't make the glue, we only do paper products and consultation. I've sent away to Germany for your special glue, should be here by next week, it's being flown over, Lufthansa FTW. I did half sized barrels as I wanted it to be a bit easier for you guys to move around, like I said the full sized 100kg barrels are a little cumbersome, especially with no cranes etc. So yeah, you have 200kg of confetti here when you need it. Probably easiest to wait for the glue and get it all at once.
  4. Hey Patty, four half festoons of p-mash hot off the press and with your name on it. Had Rory (in the background) sort it out for you today.
  5. Judging by the age of the houses in the background, I'd say he is in either Tasmania or the 1950's.

  11. I think we all know that I'm next in line to be made moderator.
  12. Where the fark is Woolongong?
  13. I think the location (or at least the state) should be listed in the title. It is a bit annoying when you see a car whose specs look good and then you have to traul through the FS post to find it's located on the other side of the country. eg; [VIC] 1994 Rover 216s with all the mods I know it will probably mean less thread views and therefore less money for the forum (if that's how it works) but it would probs make things a whole heap easier.
  14. I would think you would be hard done by getting done for replaced coilpacks or Nistuned board (especially since it appears no different). They might pick on the boost controller. You would be best talking to someone who does AUVIS, tell him what it's had done and guage his response. I just read a 77 page document from the RTA site regarding AUVIS and esafety certs trying to pick-up on any import/modification specific guidelines but there wasn't much. It seems that the RTA don't like telling us exactly what their inspectors are looking for, if there is any detailed info on their site, I would say it's buried deeper than a matchbox car in a gay mans arse.
  15. Good to see Ash. I'm getting a little tired of these repeat offenders posting rubbish in the For Sale section.
