better imo, i was looking at 325i's before I got the is200. Suppose it depends on what model 3 series your talking about though eg. e36, e46, 318i, 325i, 328i etc? That and whats important to you in a car.
yea they're too big for my liking. Shape doesn't appeal to me. I like the looks of the is200, with its weight and center of gravity it handles really well and its easy to mod, its fairly new. Plus a standard 1/2j makes it a pretty quick car.
conversion is easy. The standard motor is a 1fge which is almost exactly the same size as a 1j/2j. Basically like doing an rb conversion on a silvia or 180sx. Plenty of people in Aus have done the conversion. Its not exceptionally cheap but neither is it unaffordable (depending on your budget). You can find a lot of info on altezza forums, i'm looking at doing it sometime in the future.
you assume correct, i've had two skylines. The lexus is great for handling, breaking and general luxury aspects. It is a lot different in the performance way of things, but you can at least go past a cop without thinking up an excuse for when he pulls you over. Its not unbearable anyway...and theres always the 1/2j option on hand. I do miss big singles and external wastegates though.
anyone got office 2007 on their computer? used to have it but got a new laptop and im starting from scratch (my old laptop fcked up) Im way to tight to pay for everything again and I cbf downloading it.
meh is all I have to say about the v8 m3. The 335 was fast enough, a 3l 6 twin turbo is pretty quick. Bigger turbos are always available if you really need more power the v8 will just be another way for them to make more money. Bullsh*t the numbers, flare the guards some more and put on the 20's....oh and add 50k. You really have to be a bmw lover to justify the price they ask.
insurance is always based on market value (the lowest market value) so probably like 10k for a 32 depending on km's and yr. If you want to pay more you can go with agreed value. Best bet is to, like everyone has said, ring your insurer/prospective insurer.
Get the new bmw 335i! They're seriously hot and fast. My dad and I drove one the other day. We ended up buying a Lexus is250 as it raped the bmw on features and dad is more concerned with features than power but still. Perfect for a middle aged buyer...if you have 130k that is.
