  1. erm nope...
  2. yea it should but ebc's arent that expensive and if anything at least you have piece of mind, plus you can change and monitor boost levels from the cabin.
  3. i've seen cases of a screw in a piece of vaccum hose hold boost o.k on higher hp cars but still....an ebc can do more than give you a pretty screen, not to mention safety side of things. I remember when i was driving my car one day my ebc came up with a warning and wouldnt let me boost over .7bar because a vaccum hose had come lose and if i hadn't had an ebc I wouldnt have had that function. It could have saved me running unlimited boost and a lot of money.
  4. shane is right, you cant expect to get decent or consistent boost out of a dodgy bleed valve, even cheaper electronic boost controllers will do a much much better job. Go to www.nengun.com and find yourslef a new one asap!
  5. meh...this comedy thing on tv is reasonably funny
  6. rofl
  7. sounds like a boost leak, does it maintain a solid boost level once it reaches it?
  8. the problem comes when you modify, because those cars come standard with the vents etc they have to meet adr etc. But you can get a vented bonnet ok'd by getting a mod plate...all is detailed in that link i posted above anyway.
  9. http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/qt/LTASinf...ion_Jan05v2.pdf read that it details bonnet vents
  10. First kit hands down, the fabrication of the things included will exeed the difference without question. Spool time would be almost irrecognisable between the above turbos.
  11. hey
  12. perhaps someone has some rims for me in teh for sale section....
  13. yea just checked theyre practicly the same 114.3x5 +40
  14. out of interest what is the stud pattern and offset of skylines (i cant remember) i know my car is 114.3x5 stud and I think +40 offset
  15. I like either bronze or shadow chrm with a polished lip (if there is a lip) I think they look best on a white car!
  16. yea theyre pretty nice....i dont have to have name brand wheels, most of them have been copied anyway. Im mainly wanting something with a style that will suit the car in 18/19s and are made wide enough to take a decent tyre..like a 245.
  17. i like the work emotion rims the best, im going for a mix of race and class...there are a million copies of those, not the same weight but still look the same.
  18. my point exactly too expensive for tyres...i dont want to spend that much everytime I need to change the rears or the set. Hence 18s are acceptable and 19s are a stretch. Im tight and want to spend money on things other than tyres!
  19. 20's = too big and too expensive for tyres!!!
  20. budget under 2k, 18s or 19s, style (give me suggestions, youve seen pics of my car) I dont want chrome although im sure you already know this. I dont want to have to do body work to fit them under the gaurds!
  21. te37s or gram lights or something would be nice but way too expensive...give me other suggestions! Im not spending rediculous money on rims!
  22. what rims do you think would suit my car?? Where were you going to get the conversion done? I need someone to do my conversion for free, i dont like my chances. rofl.
  23. I dont mind these..
  24. first thing is rims....I dunno what to get yet...I dont mind lenso muse wheels but i kind of want some form of dish on the rear...dunno yet.
  25. im only looking at realisticly one day putting in a standardish 1j anyway...a 2j with a t51r is overkill, exciting and pant wetting but overkill!
