I was going off the most expensive new porsche as per carsales.com which was a 911 997 Turbo which is 335k....still cheap in the luxury car world...in comparison to the most expenseive, lambo's, ferrari's etc...main point is most of Porsche's cars are around the 100-230k mark, whereas most other luxury cars dont even start near that price.

New car for new car porsche and ferrari are basicly the same (even around a track (according to Top Gear) as they both have some weight distribution stablility control blah blah blah etc etc))....old cars would probably be a different story though. I guess it's personal preference. I prefer Ferrari's over Porsches only because Porsche make so many cheap ghey versions of their cars and it rarely matters which one you own they look relatively the same. I'd prefer a 355 anyday.

Ferrari's are faster than Porsche's.....F430's do 0-100 in 4.1, 911 GT3's do 0-100 in 4.3..on a circuit a 911 GT3 will probably be faster..but yea, Ferrari's have better power figures...they also weigh a touch more. Theres been mixed reviews but the F430 is commonly rated higher than the new Porsche 911 GT3...big price difference though, at least Porsches are relatively cheap.

meh, it was only a 911, not like it was a ferrari...or a bugatti....rofl at the guy who crashed that..2mil gone. Definately speed related...very lucky to be alive by the looks.

bottom line....cutting the reo is bad mmmmkay.

We've all seen (the pics) and heard the difference of a front end crash without a reo though...it's the first line of defence, you weaken it and you're really just opening yourself up to more pain if and/or when you have a crash. Cutting cooler holes does weaken it as well, obviously, but if the damage gets that far back it's not really going to make much difference have a 4" hole there.

No they have a straight 6 1GFE....3SGE's are in the Toyota Altezza version. Did google do you wrong? Even still I don't understand your point; a 3SGE isn't an sr20 and even then I wouldn't claim it's a good engine.

yeah, oh well....when you get your license back you'll be on your opens and you'd only lose 3 points for that anyway...who cares...fight it for fun or just pay the fine, either way it wont really affect you.

When you send a letter contesting the fine or the like, it's taken that you are taking teh court option, usually they send you another letter saying pay the fine though....although that is the pleading guilty part of the summons.

Sounds like they are taking the Court (and media) option. They always take that long to respond with action when dealing with fines that have had complaints/letters sent in with regard to matters such as that. Case and point my fines with that cop who was off duty, who acted like a tool and learnt a lesson for being ghey.

It's probably easier to make kits that are cheapest for them, hence brackets that require the reo to be cut as it's less piping and less bends, also good for flow...I know of ARC kits and Trust kits that don't require reo cutting, so I guess it depends on the car or more so the quality of the fitting.
