  1. rofl @ sr20's geing pwned for the 2nd time around.
  2. I dunno, are you ever right? Reference case and point the sr20 thread you've been pwned in. Plus its entertaining stirring you up! First of all I dont think anyone cuts the cooler...we're talking about the reo. And the workshops cut it because the "kit" doesn't supply correct mounts, as I said...workshops such as millenium (and many others) will make new brackets or tell you of the risk. You said its impossible to get a cooler to fit without cutting the reo..this is blatantly incorrect...all it requires (in most cases) is new brackets...most people buy hybrid kits and are to cheap to spend money on new brackets. Then again, as I said, you rarely get caught...so why bother.

  19. doing an engine conversion from the shitrod sr20?
  20. there are plenty of people who have done rb20/25/26 conversions in 180's/s13's that have sr20's..look to ns.com for the amount of threads on it. As to why a person with an R34 would put in an sr20, maybe for revs or weight distribution aid for track work? Who knows...why do some people put rb20's into calais instead of changing their rb30 head to twin cam..or even just modify the rb30? Because they do, maybe he wanted to be different? Bottom line i've seen more people put rb's into 180's/s13's than sr's into skylines etc. Try modifying an sr and an rb...dollar for dollar I think I know which one would produce the results. Otherwise we'd see many more cars with sr20 conversions (in cars other than nxr's and pulsars)
  21. it's far from impossible, nearly every decent workshop makes custom mounts for coolers to ensure the reo isn't cut. Then again, its hard to get caught as people rarely check behind a front bar to ensure the reo isn't cut, so thats why most "kits" etc require reo cutting.
  22. there's not too many good things about sr20's, one good thing is they are easily replaced with an rb.
