  1. Unless you're aiming for more than 500hp I would stick with a PFC....the things I mentioned above are just a quick summary of its features from what I remember..... Saving the money through it pluggin into the standard loom is also a large plus!!
  2. - Well a PFC gives you full access to the 20x20 ignition timing and fuel correction maps. - Air flow correction values can be entered for vehicles upgrading air flow meters. - Injector pulse correction menu is used when upgrading injectors on the engine. - The Acceleration Enrichment Correction function improves response under hard and sudden acceleration. (similar to what a SAFC does) - The Cranking Fuel Injection menu corrects the amount of fuel when the engine is being cranked, or when the water temperature is cold. - A separate Water Temp menu allows fuel correction according to water temperature. - The RPM menu allows rev limiter settings and idle RPM levels. - Complete boost control is possible by using the optional Boost Control Kit It's also very easy to use, which is a big plus as well....
  3. Marc's exatly right...the PFC will EASILY handle your mods and is tunable by some of the best tuners in the country, right now, just down the road. You're not building a 700+hp car so you don't need the extra features a more expensive ecu has to offer. The PFC is run by many cars that have in excess of 500hp with no problems at all, it's an extremely capable ecu and it's one of the most commonly recognised ones amongst the tuning industry. It's hard to go past for your application imo.
  4. Noel, what features do you want and what do you want to know about them?? So your turbo isn't coming until October???? WTF???
  5. I doubt it's that big of a deal...lets be real...it's sizzlers...as long as you don't rock up looking like a tool I don't think they care....

If you don't believe me, maybe listen to everyone else on here....they're all singing the same tune...think it's a coincidence..I think not. A big good luck to you with your "bargain" GTR! p.s. Nice work on spelling sophisticated right.....dictionary.com?
