  1. riiiiggghhhttt....maybe you'be been partying a bit to hard lately lol
  2. ........so true.
  3. Yeah renting in the reserve would be ok, but I was buying a unit and units in central park are much better for return on investment.
  4. Those apartments are pretty nice, I live in central park just opposite them.
  5. Make sure your plugs are correctly gapped and as said above check your coils. May have also been a bad batch of fuel. RB's don't like low octane and they especially don't like it if they aren't already getting a strong enough spark. What boost are you running? Had you changed it prior to the problem starting?
  6. How do you intend to prove the mark is not from your car? Photos etc are unlikely to be taken too seriously unless they were taken at the time of the offence and of both the marks on the road and the pattern of the tyre. No expert will testify on something so trivial and if they do it's going to cost money, not to mention the smoke part of the offence could come from the exhaust. It's up to Benny Bobo to what he wants to do, but seen as he admitted to the police that he committed the offence and the fact I doubt he has anywhere near enough evidence/time/money to fight something so small. I still think pleading guilty and doing what I said will be his best course of action.
  7. Also: I'm not expressly familiar with traffic law however I did believe that this fine was only to be handed out under the premis that the officer suspected the excess noise and smoke was in conjunction with a race or time trial or otherwise misuse under the "hoon legislation". Did the officer indicate or question you relating to this? It's likely that he will use the wheelspin etc as his basis for handing out the fine but as he didn't fine you for this it's arguable. I wouldn't suggest trying to exploit this argument without further legal advice from someone based in this area of law. It would also in your case be wiser to just take the guilty plea and plead to the court and hope for the best. *This is general information relating to my opinion and does not represent or constitute legal advice. You should seek independant legal advice relating to your circumstances before taking any action.*
  8. Yes, there will likely be a set demerit point loss for this offence. The court's job is to decide if and what further punishment you require, i.e. the fine level or possible license suspension. If that's the offence you listed above is the only you've ever had, you should be ok. Just take what I said into consideration, prepare what you're going to say and make sure you emphasise your remorse for your actions.
  9. What's your traffic history look like? Depending on a few things, the likelihood of you losing your license for this is low. A judge will take all things into consideration, but don't be stupid and ignorance is no defence in law. You cannot claim you thought flooring it at the lights wouldn't spin the wheels etc etc, you didn't mean to etc...a judge will see straight through that. Best thing to do is accept it and show remorse. Apoligise, say it was a spare of the moment thing and looking back you realise how stupid and foolish it was. Mention you require your car for driving to work etc and you strongly value your license. They take into consideration the fact you are pleading guilty and that you cooperated with authorities. Mention all of these things. Being summosed isn't as bad as what many think, just because your going to court doesn't necessarily mean you're screwed. It just means, in most traffic offences, the punishment is discretionary (for the judge to decide based on facts). Prepare well and you'll be fine. Any lawyer that practices in traffic related matters will be able to help you, although it's probably not necessary for something such as this. I can give you some details if you wish.

  13. zomg..what a tool, how people can seriously do that to a car I don't know. To much FNF is the problem..at least he knows its a Honda and didn't put a Nismo or TRD sticker on it like many other fellow ricers.
  14. ZOMG!!1!!!SHIFTONE!!!1!
  15. Atmo screamers and 90+ db exhausts ftw...I don't care what people say.....high hp cars sound tough, the less restrictions and the louder..the better. I hate stupid laws....noise restrictions of 90db are rediculous when motorbikes don't adhere to such same restrictions...claiming noise pollution is a joke. As for environmental reasons, there's plenty more obvious ways to "save the world", plumbing a sceamer pipe back in isn't on Al Gores top ten. In car boost controller is even more rediculous, but hey it's the law so I suppose there's little you can do. This isn't really relevant to this topic, just my random venting. Luckily I was never defected for this crap.
  16. where's the humerous news article biatch??
  17. the place you're going to obviously isn't dodgy enough
  18. Everyone's still forgetting the police don't do anything under these new laws. It's up to a magistrate who, in most cases, is on much less of a powertrip than a cop and will listen to ALL the circumstances before handing out harsh action. When I have contested fines, I've usually won and thats because police do stupid things and hand out stupid fines. Magistrates aren't going to take away your car for having a transport approved exhaust (under 90db) or a new pod filter. Steve: That sucks about getting fined, I met you a while ago (through linda) on the m1 when I had my white 33....good to see you still have the car, it's one of the nicer 33's out there.
  19. If I was you shane, id just give up the build, put the motor back together and continue when you have more cash.
