  1. Down in tassie. It doesnt stall when more air is introduced it cuts the revs like an ignition fault not fuel but I will try the fuel pressure thing. Have had a look at wiring e.g wiggle test and terminal tension when fault occurs, have tried known good afm, I think it's more sensor related, it happens after you drive it get it hot turn the car off for a while and then re-start it like a sensor getting hot and Playing up
  2. Having some trouble with my 1990 r32 gtst Sometimes when I drive it won't rev over 2000 rpm it revs to 2000 and then drops to 1500 and bounces between that at wide open throttle like a rev limiter if I take off in a higher gear then force it into lower gear n get the revs over 2000 rpm then it's fine to drive until it drops back under 2 grand, have tried a couple air flow meters and swapped ecu's any help is appreciated, thinking maybe TPS or cas

  25. So I have recently purchased a r32gtst with a rebuilt bottom end and a n1 oil pump fitted. I was driving it the other day and the motor lost oil pressure and a death rattle was produced from the bottom end which I was suprising due to the very recent rebuild. I removed the engine and stripped down the bottom. Found number 1 main and big end bearings to be spun and mashed welded together and bearing further down the crank to be damaged also. I then removed to oil pump and inspected the modified drive collar and pump, the pump was fitted with silicon sealant and the gear housing plate of the pump has had insufficient clearance between the first journal of the crankshaft causing the crank to wear into the oil pump and metal filings through the engine causing bottom end failure. Has anyone seen this before or has any info? Such as is a gasket meant to be used to space the pump out or any other ideas?
