Z32 AFM = Sold -
Thanks gtst88! Couldn't agree with you more. Just went for a cruise tonight and i'm having second thoughts about selling it... 180sx_nissan_guru - It hasn't been dynoed or run down the 1/4 mile. It's a non-accident car that's been looked after and is in top condition.

open to offers!!

Parts like the intercooler and rims can easily be swapped for stock parts as well so that would reduce the price...
-
It depends on what people are willing to pay...I'd like to get around $15-16k.

So who's going on the cruise? I was speaking to a friend with a 300zx earlier today, and apparently there's a cruise starting at the Marina car park at 8pm as well. Anyone heard about it? I'll be there in his 300zx... hope to see some skylines there too!

Need advice on mods to do for $4-$5k on GTR
mr180 replied to mxfly's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Check out this R32 on Fullboost for a good example of what can be done to a GTR without spending too much. http://www.fullboost.com.au/cars/featureca...tr32_shaun.html -
I would have to agree with rb26dett... If you're after that much power then you are probably better off with a twin plate clutch like OS Giken or Nismo, especially if you are planning on taking it down the 1/4mile. At least you know it will be able to handle the power and wont slip. I have heard that they are easy to live with once you get used to them. I've got a heavy duty clutch in at the moment and that slips ocassionly so I just ordered a twin plate so I wont have to worry about it anymore, even when i've finished playing around with the engine.

The SR is capable of going over 250rwkw on stock internals. It's been done before and has proven to be fairly reliable as well as long as it's treated ok. Same goes for the RB20 and RB25. I think the problem with the SR and RB20 is that it will have more lag compared to the RB25, and if you're looking at 250-300rwkw on low boost, lag will be an issue so the RB25 is definately the lesser of two evils in that case. You will have a wider power band with the RB25 and thats what you want on the street. I know there are a few guys here with over 250rwkw on the RB25 like whatsisname, merli, bigpsi, and others so maybe you should try to get their opinion. Don't know of any using the RB20 though. Whatever you decide it will still be a sweet ride. If you are going to do a conversion I would go the RB25. You shouldn't have any worries with the gearbox as well. I almost bought a R33 half-cut myself and was planning on doing the RB25 conversion. I'll see how the SR goes first with about 240rwkw(I hope) I don't think the weight of an RB is a big issue either. Never heard any complaints about that from the conversions i've seen. Check out this link from SXOC. Some pommy dude put an RB25 in a sil80. Check out the weight figures. http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&...highlight=close Right, these were the corner weights prior to the conversion: LF = 333 RF = 328 LR = 315 RR = 334 Front Total = 661.5 (50.4%) Reat Total = 649 (49.5%) Total weight = 1310kg After the conversion: LF = 365.5 RF = 358.00 LR = 314.5 RR = 326.00 Front Total = 723.5 (53.0%) Rear Total = 640 (46.9%) Total weight = 1363.5kg

I'm looking at getting a front/dump pipe as well and would like to get it HPC coated... Any idea how much this would be?

Who has the Power FC diagnostic software?
mr180 replied to 400HP's topic in General Automotive Discussion
What's with all the secrecy about this software? I don't see why Apexi wouldn't want to release it as it makes the Power FC more tunable and therefore more appealing to the consumer. I found this site http://www.fc-datalogit.co.nz/fc-datalogit.html which allows PC tuning of your Power FC but they only have gtr 33/32... -
The stock fuel regulator should keep the rail pressure the same as it was with the old pump. I had a Bosch 044 pump put in and it's now running perfectly. No big clouds of black smoke coming out the back so the regulator is regulating well.

Sounds good GTS-t VSPEC. Would be interested to hear some reports on how they perform.

mr180 replied to nizmokid's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Ok... i've got GReddy, Trust, Blitz, Tein, A'pexi stickers going down the doors. Rear quater panels: HKS, A'pexi, Sard, Blitz, Endless. Rear bumper: Fujitsubo, Yokohama. And some unusual ones on the back window: 'Traffic Violation' and 'Back Shan'. Inside: Hashiriya sticker. It doesnt look too ricey. :uh-huh: -
Either the 2530 or the 2540 will do quite nicely if you want something to bolt onto the stock manifold. Zoom had a series of articles covering the build up of an RB20 R31 wagon, which ended up getting a 240rwkw @ 1.1bar with a 2530. So with the boost controller set on high to 1.5bar, the turbo would be running in it's efficiency range and you would hope it would produce more power!
