Hey guys,
I'm part way through installing a set of Tein Super Streets on my car and hit a road block.
I removed the original shock/spring setup no problem, just 2 nuts at the top and 1 big one at the bottom. However, trying to put the new coilovers in, I noticed after mounting the bottom of the shock to the wheel hub, the bolts in the upper mount don't line up with their holes at the top.
Did a search and apparently its a common problem and you'd be lucky to have coilovers that did line up fresh outta the box.. So most people said they just twisted it until it lines up, but I can't seem to twist it by hand..
People who have done this install before - will it damage the coilover if you simply just twist it? and what method did you use in aligning the coilovers to the right holes?
Sorry if this has been discussed before..
