  1. Selling a used clutch master cylinder I bought from the wreckers for $125 to replace the one I thought was broken on my R32, however I discovered it didn't actually need replacing. Part is in used and working condition. Will post anywhere in Australia. Also available for pickup Price asking: $110 + postage. Just trying to make some money I spent as it's too late to return it. Reasonable offers accepted. PM or text 0413768705 edit: Also forgot to mention it will fit all r32, 33, and 34 models. For non-GTR models, you will need the booster
  2. hey sk, could I please get the spring rates for these: Fronts: Coil ID = 88/79 Wire OD = 25.5 # of Coils = 8.8 Rears: Coil ID = 100/68 Wire OD = 23.5 # of Coils = 9.5 thanks!
  3. Thanks for all your replies guys. Yeah ended up bolting the top to the car and sticking a ratchet handle through the bottom and twisting it til it lined up. Cheers, Bang
  4. Hey guys, I'm part way through installing a set of Tein Super Streets on my car and hit a road block. I removed the original shock/spring setup no problem, just 2 nuts at the top and 1 big one at the bottom. However, trying to put the new coilovers in, I noticed after mounting the bottom of the shock to the wheel hub, the bolts in the upper mount don't line up with their holes at the top. Did a search and apparently its a common problem and you'd be lucky to have coilovers that did line up fresh outta the box.. So most people said they just twisted it until it lines up, but I can't seem to twist it by hand.. People who have done this install before - will it damage the coilover if you simply just twist it? and what method did you use in aligning the coilovers to the right holes? Sorry if this has been discussed before..
  5. Hey guys, I contacted Greenline today about ordering some Tein Super Streets for my R32 GTR. So... apparently they don't make em anymore lol Still some stock around here and there but basically the guy said it was discontinued to make way for the new Street Advance coilovers - supposedly the "evolution" of the SS Additions to new Street Advances: - wider, more noticeable range of adjustment - shorter, for better performance at lower than - stronger internal components for durability I noticed Fulcrum now sells them for $400 cheaper than the SS's! Seriously thinkin about getting em just to try em out. Only bad thing is that they don't come with upper mounts for R32s So my question is, anybody actually gone out and bought a set of these and if so, are they any good? Are they compatible with the stock top mounts/tein rubber mounts/pillowball mount? I believe the ones Fulcrum sell are Jap-spec ones, as it says they're ex-Japan and the model number starts with a G as opposed to Aus-spec ones that start with a Q. Here's the link: http://performance.f...ber=GSN14-21SS2 Any input would be great. Cheers
  6. Pedals are pretty firm actually. Guess i'll try and milk this clutch til it starts to slip a bit more before I go shopping for a new one. Got a pretty stock gtr so wouldnt be surprised if it lasts ages. Thanks again!
  7. Dunno if its standard but I know its a twin plate from the noise it makes. Bout 120 xxx kms on it (probably been wound back). Thanls for your input, ahhbee. Kinda confirms a worn clutch. Do you know if bleeding + replacing clutch fluid could help?
  8. Yeah that's the one. Right now the U bracket that's connected to the back of the pedal is all the way at the end of the push rod. Adjusting it all the way down the other way makes a little difference to the height at which the pedal sits naturally but no difference to the grab point of the clutch.
  9. Hey guys, I've read a lot about people having problems with their clutch grabbing too low. My problem is the opposite where the friction point is way too high (pretty much 1cm from the top). I've tried readjusting the pedal but it doesn't seem to do much - bite point stays the same, pedal just get sits lower or higher depending on how its adjusted. Can this be fixed or is it just a case of a worn clutch? Its a '94 r32 GT-R Thanks
  10. Hey guys, As promised, more pics of my freshly imported GTR. Just passed compliance last week in Melbourne and getting trucked to Brisbane to arrive on Friday. Cant wait!
  11. Hi everyone, My name's Bang. I just bought a 1994 R32 GT-R from Japan. Its still waiting to get booked onto a boat to Australia at this very moment. Just thought I'd intro myself. Very excited to become part of the skyline community and looking forward to some cruises and new friends. Anyways, here are some pics (at the jap auction yard I think). Any tips on maintenance/initial servicing would be much appreciated. More pics to come once the car gets here!
