Really i think that's a load of crap, they can't descriminate against modded cars being alowed to park there. They can say for customers only but they cant kick modded cars out and allow stock commos n pulsars to park there. I think thats getting a bit rediculous. I like the idea of parking outside the cop shop maybe we should go there first let them check out the car and get a clear slate for the night...however if they tried they could probably find something wrong with almost any car not to mention a modded one! Roma street sounds like the go....may check out aspley but by the sounds of things it might not be worth the hassle. Boostimports ill keep a look out for u, im not coming down til the 5th but if anyones out my plates are 33NIZ hence my name. Less people is more boring, its not the amount of people its the type of people. If you get people doing burnouts and screwing around the cops are always going to get over it and start charging/inspecting everything! A meet with some decent people at a decent spot is always good...but lets be serious its not that easy..tools usually rock up and ruin the fun. I am only saying that from what ive been toled so far aspley maccas and roma street carpark are the only decent place to go on a thursday night, anyone with otherwise suggestions, lets here them?

yea i was at brissy last weekend and some of the suburbs aren't the greatest...think ill stick to the highway and highly populated areas

I am down there not this week but the week after anyway. Being from noosa a simple drive around down there is more interesting than our entire night...so I will hopefully see some decent cars and be able to congregate somewhere without being kept there for hours so a cop can inspect my car!

hmm yea i dont like the brissy speed humps in carparks i can see the supredrager getting detached from my car! Might have to check out Aspley and Roma street, although guns and knives dont really seem like a place to be...it might be a good thing the cops will be there

I can also see where pentae is coming from, I get "did daddy buy that for u?" from people all the time, you quickly learn to shrug it off especially if you can find a few people with decent cars to hang around, as long as your not an up yourself tool that thinks hes king sh*t coz he has a nice car and appreciate what youve hopefully either worked hard or are working hard for, why shouldnt you be able to have a nice car? Just coz others will be jealous and or not approve isnt a reason not to buy a good car. Thats my 2c anyway.

Yea, work really hard and buy one..or take a loan and work really really hard to pay it off! If you can get a loan of your parents its easier on the interest but hmm not so easy on the repayments as they think that paying them everything you earn is the best option. Needless to say we dont see eye to eye on that issue!

Yea it seems to be a huge problem lately the cops are really tightening down on "car meets" its annoying because the people who just want to stop and talk can't do it without getting stuck with the cops going through your car and usually finding a "defect" somewhere! Excuse my lack of knoweledge of brissy but where in roma street do you park? I know vaugely where it is but lol where to park would be a mystery to me!

Hey All, Myself and a few mates are taking my car down to Gavin Woods on the 5th for a tune and afterwards are planning to head to Aspley Maccas as I know it is usually not to bad. Quick question does anything else exciting happen on a thurs night down there and how many people from the forums go there?
