  1. No first hand experience, but I've heard that these are nothing but trouble. I think there's a review on NS possibly? Absolutely wrecked the guys fuel system/engine if I remember correctly.
  2. What power levels are you looking at? Have you considered a GTR pump? Direct plug in.
  3. Bit of a thread jack here, but does anyone know if the standard 33 GTST alternator is a Bosch unit?
  4. Any chance of one for a 33?
  5. Depends on severity and condition of rims. I haven't had a powdercoat as of yet, but my mate had a set done pearl orange and it cost him 800 I believe. Was a very good job. But like all jobs you pay for what you get. I believe there is a place in Williamstown (Mr.Powdercoat?) and it was around 300 for a set, if I remember correctly. Stand to be corrected.
  6. +1 It's like masterbation on a plane.
  7. GTR front bar, Vertex rear and sides??
  8. When I was on my P's I got done for this as the p plate was slightly curled over (it was the ones without the suction cup) wasn't even aware and the copper was an absolute flog. Also wanted to give me a fine for not wearing a seat belt, until I repeatedly explained I was had literally gotten into my car (no off street parking). Some of the costs of fines in Victoria is farcical.
  9. This And this
  10. Yeah I get what you're saying. I wasn't actually trying to say that +30 is widebody at all, but I could see how it comes across that way. But I guess it's all relative anyway.
  11. Yeah I love the look of them, i know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I love the fatness of them. Mixed with the right ride height and offset and they transform the 33 into a sexy beat. Really gives it a drift look if you ask me. Have you been looking at fenders yourself?
  12. Exactly what you said sir! Will be using D1 max guards.
  13. I'm not sure of anyone who does a specific kit, but I'm in the process of putting together a kit consisting of BN sports full kit, widened front guards (+30) and wide rear fenders. Also in the photo section there is a full thread on widebody lines!
  14. As the topic states I'm After a front bar for my series 2 33 sedan. Preferably a BN sports kit or GTR. Preferably located in Vic
  15. I'm addicted to cupcake central. Is that place any good? Usually I'll just hit up Suji.
  16. Was that Muztek's 34? Shame I won't see it around Vic anymore. But you've managed to get a beautiful car!
  17. Alright I'll admitt defeat at that. Tbh I actually hadn't read through this thread, going by the title I assumed that it was general thread for car troubles. Didn't realize that it was in relation to one particular poster (40 pages is a lot for one poster!) Apologies for cluttering the thread!
  18. Haha, just stalking you! Nah I work at the Commonwealth Bank, you basically always park opposite haha.
  19. Thought that but have checked it and they seem fine, apart from checking out the voltage to the alternator and starter motor (though I wouldn't think the starter motor would be an intermittent problem), the only other issue I could see would be the grounding wire wasn't doing it's job correctly. But once again this doesn't seem the case. Guess it's best to get it to an autoelectrician or my mechanics because I can't see anything else I can do from my end.
  20. Not really sure what you're getting. No specific threads on this issue, and wasn't going to start a new one. Thus the reason for posting in the thread 'car problems'
  21. Hi all, first ever problem with my skyline in three years. I have absolutely no power whatsoever when I try to start my car. Initially I thought it was a dead battery and had been jumping starting it until I have the chance to get a new battery, however the other night it happened again (believed it to be a dead battery) and when I went out in the morning it did not require a jump, started fine. When it's dead there is no 'clickig' while trying to turn over, no warning lights etc whatsoever. Could this be the starter motor/alternator? Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
  22. Saw xalmon again on glenferrie road.
  23. +1 I've been here. Not sure of any local companies though that make non fibreglass, unless of course you're talking OEM.
