  1. Seeing it's 370 in the shops I'm not looking to sell it for 150 champ.
  2. So for those of you that are interested I'm going to go through some of my future plans forthw car. I'm not after a huge drag monster or a dyno king but rather a nice street car that I can hopefully get down to some vic drift days. ENGINE: Plazmaman pro series FMIC and (possibly) forward facing plenum. Metal intake pipe. CES split dump. Larger injectors (yet to be determined but looking at IDs) Larger fuel pump Z32 AFM EBC Look at turbos down the track, not really looking at hi-flowing though. BODY: BN Sports kit Widened front fenders GTR rear fenders INTERIOR: Leaving it largely stock but removing the front seats and replacing with Bride seats. Possibly fixed back for driver and recliner for passenger.
  3. Sweet, looks like I'll pay next Wednesday night! Can you pick membership packs up in the night too if paying cash? Or are they still posted out? Thanks for the help
  4. Hey all, decided to be a paid up member of SAU! Just wondering would it better to do it online, or wait till next Wednesday and pay in person? Or is it all the same in the end?
  5. Sorry to hijack but I was positive GTR lights were different, well at least on a 33. I've never done this conversion so can someone confirm of that's just an urban myth?
  6. Most likely haha, I only saw it side on!
  7. Saw a black 33 with gold vinyl's crossing Glenferrie road, on Burwood road at about 7.15pm
  8. Nice stag that gave me a dose as it drove past! On Hoodle just before Vic parade
  9. If you buy a Fibreglass kit you'll find one easily and not need to do the whole conversion ie. bonnet, guards, lights etc. It would be substantially cheaper and a whole lot less work to do this. Keep in mind if you source a genuine GTR front bar and want it to fit CORRECTLY, it will also require GTR headlights, guards and bonnet. If you factor this is in with the cost of labour to fit, plus respray, it will be excessive and substantial. If you can do the work all yourself you could save some coin, but I'm presuming you'd need the work done too. That's just my 2 cents worth however. If you want to do it, then do it! Numerous threads on this bud so have a search. Also should have mentioned, if you do buy a GTR front bar (genuine) and fit it without the proper hood etc it will create a slight over hang and gap between the headlights. Edit: just read through your post again and realized you were aware about the bonnet etc!
  10. Hey all I'm selling my head unit! No longer need it and going in a different direction. It's a current model sony, 2 pre outs. Front aux in, and RRP at JB is 370. Item is near new condition and very well looked after. Only thing I don't have is the remote. Located in Melbourne, and willing to let go for 300. PM OR MESSAGE 0411 087 701. Often can't answer calls so TEXT.
  11. Hey champ curious on the prices for R33 CF wind deflectors, coil cover and headlight intake. Cheers
  12. Hi all, after a BN sports kit for the 33 (2 door) and also BN or d max fenders (may look at other fenders should they be available) PM

    Widebody

Thread revival but feck a sexy widebody. Makes me wanna get the 33 booked in for some custom work!
  14. So been a long time since I posted in here and a lot of things have changed! Unfortunately my skyline came to an end in a car accident. Luckily no one was injured or killed etc, and fortunately no one else was harmed. After the call to say the car was a write off I began my search. Rather than going another auto I decided I'd aim for a nice manual. I decided to skip car sales and bean searching through SAU for a nice one. I ended up buying Alr33x's GTST. I had a service done and the roadworthy, and couldn't wait to start getting the mods done! Rather than going out and putting the mods on one-by-one, I've slowly been stockpiling parts to put in one hit. Currently installed on the car is a blitz(?) return flow, aftermarket coilpacks (believe they are splitfire), k&n panel filter, split dump and I believe an aftermarket cat. Ready to go on I currently have a custom exhaust (courtesy of Alr33x), the 100 cell cat, a Blitz sus power air intake (which I will be using in conjuction with a CAI), GTR fuel pump, HKS SSQV & EIDS stabilizer (unsure if this will be used, very NFS, if I do use it will most likely plumb it back), and I'll be purchasing a CES split dump to complete the exhaust. Interior wise the car is stock however I've put on a Nismo titanium shift knob which I'm loving! I replaced the 17' wheels that came with the car with a set of Rota P45R2's. Black 18 inch all round +12 running stretched rubber. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea but that's how they came! The parts I have should be on soon but I have a lot more to come! Just need to decide on a workshop to get it all underway and future tuning. Thinking doctor drift possibly.
  15. CES dump is worth from between 500-700 new iirc.
  16. Yep woulda been you! From suji sushi? The katsudon is real good
  17. Only watched about ten mins but can't wait to see the rest! Amazing.
  18. Saw the yellow 34 again today outside subway on Glenferrie! Swear I've seen you on here before, manga girl on the side window above a SAU sticker!
  19. Haha yeah I get ya mate. Well i'd recommend RE customs in Springvale, few mates gone there and it seems fairly priced and reasonable work at a cost
  20. Spotted a few yesterday/last night! Yellow 25GT yesterday parked outside Starbucks on Glenferrie road. Possible bomex kit. Black R33 next to me last night on the eastern. Got off at Doncaster road. And a gunmetal 33 doing a u-turn on Springvale road, just before Marrondah highway. Gave you a toot
  21. Series 1 '33, white, this morning on Victoria St
