  1. ok ok ok...lets just say it is still a very good regional track. At least it is full 1/4 mile, better than some. besides the people in Ipswich, how many of us can say they have a decent, legal place to have fun on? Hey Boosmeister, you thinking of going up for it? Benaraby drags that is.
  2. :bahaha: ...and don't go too fast on the return road cause you'll stir up dust, and it will go on to the track.
  3. Bit dodgy but...I used some craft glue to stick it down. But it didn't totally do it right so i got the shit and pulled out the loctite and put a real little around the edge. If you put too much it came through the velour.
  4. my windows are pretty dark and have yet to have a problem. Anytime i am pulled over i wind down both windows so is not so obvious. Came on my car, and i still have road worthy cert that said it was fine.
  5. Not totslly sure, but the trust one looks very similar in size to mine. I have different end tanks. I have no problems running 1.5 bar boost. can't complain, but coola was on car when i bought it so i'm not too sure of the actual benefits it gave.
  6. I have done my 32. I don'y think it came out the best, but for the cost of the materials was worth it. I sanded back, then used spray putty to fill in existing blemishes. Gave it quite a few light coates of chrome paint (doesn't come up anything like chrome, but nice silver). And covered with a couple coates of clear. This stops it from getting scratched. While waiting for the coates to dry I took a few other bits out and did them too. I just today retrimed my doors in blue velour. Again not professional quality but for the money saving, and the learning experience I think was well worth it. here is a quick pic.
  7. I have a picture of it.
  8. Decked out? For a forester...Let's see Big FMIC (i mean BIG), STI Spec turbo, 22b bottom end (2.2l), Top spec Motec computer. Total head rebuild with forged pistons etc. Dropped on it's guts, big wheels, exhaust. When it just had STI intercooler (not FMIC)& turbo it ran a 13 flat. Expecting to dip into 11s when tuned for higher boost. Good for up to 30psi apparently. Let's not forget this is a freakin' Forester!
  9. Is true Boxhead. Not wanting to work the day after. I votes Saturday.
  10. I bought mesh from a plumber. Try all sorts of builders, just ask them if they ever use the stuff, and if they have any off-cuts. I bought enough to do my front bar twice over for $5! Cost me more for, metal primer, paint & sikaflex.
  11. Interested int his one myself. Need help too.
  12. I have seen a 33 with duel tips. They were smallish(not as big as the above picture, 2 or 2.5"), came out on the same side with a slight angle (Jap style). No adjustments were made to the rear bar, and it looked oh so cool. If you have single exhaust pipe that splits into two tips, the extra weight would be minimal, no more than stock exhaust box.
  13. ...which in turn reduces power produced....umm no thanks. the only reliable fuel saving device is your right foot.
  14. hehehe......benaraby. Imagine Willowbank... Now remove the buildings and infrastructure. Place a drag strip (1/4 mile) in some bush not far from Gladstone, Qld. Basicly a piece of bitumen, in the bush with timing equipment. What more do you need? It is fairly well supported by the Gladstone, Rockhampton & Bundaberg people though. Is fairly surprising the numbers they get, and the Import meet will be well supported by the Gladstone guys, and Squizz and the Kaos crew. Check out www.benarabyraceway.com but don't expect too much.
  15. Had the same problems with mine. Took the switch apart and cleaned the terminals out, and worked fine since. If you try, be careful, is some fiddly shit.
  16. Lots of people up this way go through Suncorp-metway. They are not to keen on mods. (what they don't know.....:sly: ) Even still with my experience was $500/year (full comprehensive) cheaper than Just cars.
  17. Mines got GTR lights too. (apparently due to this thread)
  18. I have Trust/greddy intercooler. It is not particularly big (length ways) compared to most intercoolers people buy. But is plenty big enough. It is happy with boost up to 1.6 bar. But i can't comment on extra lag due to the coola, cause i don't have standard turbo.
  19. I wants in too

  21. I love Franks 34GTT...makes me really want one. But looking at his pictures (mind you, this is all I've seen, never got in one), is the interior of an R34 much different than 33 or even 32? I know mine shares nearly the exact same lines, and shape. Besides newer seats and nicer dials. Is there much difference?
  22. Not a real skyline i tells ya...no way can they call them a skyline, a glorified Maxima...the skyline is dead...until the GTR comes out.
  23. Sorry...I try again...much better
  24. here is picture of the back from BAS. Quality is not crash hot, had to reduce it down heaps to get it on here. Hope it works. (see below for picture)
