Man, what are you on about? I didn't mention being able to spend 30k till mid way through the thread. I initially wanted an 8 to 10k 25GT, but after realising how slow it is I've avoided going for it. I've actually taken the advice from people on here and spoken to my parents about it and they'd actually prefer me getting a BMW rather then a cheap box. And if anything I f**king envy you guys having skylines, wish I could have one now.

I live in a wealthy family, but I'm not your tyPical rick kid that brags, I never mention any of the cars my family owns, wealth, etc. I'll most likely be going for the BMW, Parents actually want me to get the 330Ci rather then the cheaP 25GT. Birthday in a month, so gonna start visiting a few BMW Private sellers this week

this is my plan. 2 years with a bmw 330ci, simple mods: lower, exhaust, rims/tyres, etc. after those 2 years, sell the bmw, and get a R34 GTR V Spec. sorry but i'm not waiting 4 years to get a twin turbo. LOL. just drive without my P's.

nahh drifting isn't on the roads, that's in parking lots LOL. oh well, doesn't bother me haha. are there any drift meets or races (organised on a course) held anywhere? pretty keen to check em out when i have the opportunity.

i love drifting and going a bit fast on the roads Borci haha birds, i dunno man, i'm pretty bloody appreciative trust me, i don't take anything for granted. i do buy things for myself with my own money but whatever i see as being 'mine' i treat with respect and VL turbo flutters <3 dose itttt.

guys, don't think i'm spoilt PLEASE. i'm on holidays, 4 weeks till exams begin and i haven't even started studying coz i've been going to work for my dad from 8 to 5. and i appreciate what i have, if i get a car it'll be my baby, clean it every week, all that sorta shit. now i wanna learn how to drift... haha!

My parents actually want me to get a BMW, and I'm actually a pretty good driver which is why my parents want me to get one. Yea, I love to speed and shit, but I know when to do it. I want a nice first car haha

well if that's the case Birds, wouldn't an R34 25GT be the way to go? they're roughly around the 10k cost, spend a few grand on things like sound system, body kit, etc. also, sort of off topic, but last week i saw TWO nissan silvia turbos drive past a copper in his car, and they were both on green P's. what's going onnnnnn? haha. just watched a video on youtube, a non turbo R33 goes from 0 to 100 in about 8 seconds, how is the older model faster then the newer one? or are they about the same? also, money isn't an issue. i'm not a spoilt child, work hard for my dads business every holidays since year 9 and every weekend doing hard labour.

Money isn't the problem, I have the opportunity to get a 330Ci worth 30k roughly. Don't think I'm a spoilt kid though, I've worked for my parents every holidays since year 9 holidays and most weekends I work for them too on job sites doing some labouring. What about S15 Silvia's?

What do you mean by "unnecessary attention"? As in, cops pulling me over? If that's what you mean, I'll deal with it coz my bro gets pulled over all the time in his Holden haha. Had a look at the Honda DC2R just then, not my type of car man, sorry. I HATE THESE P PLATE LAWS.

What about a non turbo Supra? My mate's getting one and they're pretty quick cars even when non turbo.

I was thinking basic performance mods like cold air intake, etc. I heard the 25GT isn't the fastest car at all, but it doesn't bother me much, the looks compensate for that haha. Can turbo's be slapped on to the 25GT's? Or is the engine not capable of withstanding the pressure? And would there be any other cars you'd reccomend?

Hey bros, this is my very first thread/post here. Just a little background info, I looked into a Holden VZ Sv6, but my bro has a VE Sv6 and he says it's a boring car coz he can't "fix" it up, so I'm steering away from it. I then looked into a BMW 330Ci, but it seems a bit to elegant for a guy like me... LOL. So, since I'm in Victoria and can't have a turbo powered car, I have started looking into the Skyline 25GT. The exterior: perfect! The interior: needs a bit of work. Engine bay/speed: also needs a bit of work. So, what are peoples thoughts on the 25GT? If I were to get one, I'd slap on a body kit somewhat similar to the Skyline in 2 Fast 2 Furious, change the head unit, install sound system, get neon footwells as well as boot neons, bucket seats, etc. Any advice/info would be appreciated!
