  1. Excellent. I was wondering which workshop as I know of another car in Perth with an M800 and they might have had some answers for you. Good to hear it's all sorted. I'm not sure on more track days with my current car as it's up for sale but if no one comes up with the cash then I might sling some 1000cc injectors in it and retune. If I do that then I want to take it back to the track and have a blast. Did I hear that your other car got pinched??
  2. Hey Richard, what workshop is looking at it?
  3. Being told to hold position is exactly the same as being told to allow someone to pass. The are team orders and have always been a part of F1. If RBR employed the same tactic they wouldn't have had the cluster f..k when webber and vettel collided. The WDC would be a different story if that didn't take place. Massa allowed Alonso to pass so I can't see how they can penalise Alonso for doing what every other driver in the field would have done. End of the day it was a boring race and if wasn't for the Alonso/Massa part no one would be talking about it.
  4. Wrt a harness. If your car didn't come out with one fitted then it wouldn't have passed adr safety testing with one fitted. With a standard type seat that is designed to work in conjunction with an inertia belt if you fit a harness that doesn't have any give at all it will snap the seat in half in an accident. I wonder what that would do to your back? I would also hazard a guess that disabling a steering wheel mounted airbag is illegal? I know you can do it for passenger bags. I'm with MLCrisis here, it's a safety device with pros that far outweighs the cons.
  5. Try WA Suspensions. They may be able to point you in the right direction.
  6. Probably LF Performance. No matter who builds the engine it's going to cost and Ant is the man in Perth when it comes to these engines. Do it once and do it properly!! Rob have you still not built your thing yet?? I remember talking to you back in 2007 and though you were pretty close then. He is using -5's.
  7. No cats being a permanent thing or just to see what power it will make?
  8. He's using std cams so std springs are fine. It would be a waste of money using anything else.
  9. Saw this on the road yesterday, sounds good
  10. You say that now I'm assuming Ant's building yours as well? You won't be disappointed, that package is a perfect track setup.
  11. Good stuff Another 2.8 stalking the streets of Perth. Good luck with the build.
  12. The belt sound is probably the power steering belt. If you had new belts fitted they probably just need re-tensioning.
