    Some Contact Cleaners will attack the plastic that the AFM is made out of. I'd use brake cleaner like Duncan said.

    One thing to check is that when you do the bolt up that holds the connector into the ECU is that you do it up tight. Not hand tight but using a spanner. When I installed my PFC in my 32 I did it up hand tight and the thing ran like a dog.

    Not sure on that but it may have changed since I put mine over in April this year. If it's an import and first time inspection you need to pay the $135. The inspector checked my receipt to make sure I had paid for the proper inspection.

    Yep 1990 GTR under the 15 year rule. That's what I paid in April of this year. FYI just paid another 12 months rego and that was $466.50. Remember that the 'total' licensing fee is a total of the Insurance and the licensing fee combined plus the various GST's. So 6 months should be around the $240 mark.

    Can anyone tell me where the speed sensor for a R31 GTS-X is located? I believe the Hicas system uses one, just can't find where it is. Either that or a R31 manual in pdf.

    Autoworx. Paul did a great job to. East Perth pits have alot of respect for him so when they saw his name on the papers they were happy. From getting there to walking away with plates in less than 1/2 hour.

    What size have you already got on it?? Mine went over with 17 * 9's with 245/45's no problems at East Perth and they don't have a DOT marking on the tyres either.

    You had plates on the car when it was complied and passed over the pits?? Just suck it up and get it over the pits again. They can sticker you for an number of things you wouldn't think possible.

    My car passed through inspection with Jap Tyres all round. No E or DOT mark to be seen. They have a JIS stamp and they deemed that suitable. This is for WA so might vary from state to state.

    Mine had a seized actuator in the door. Pretty cheap to replace but a bugger to get to.
