  1. its a pain in the ass just seeing it even though it doesnt stop you from driving. when i got the momo wheel for my 32 i made sure i got a hicas compatible boss kit also.
  2. I experience something similar to you too, although I havn't removed the fuse. I noticed it ever since I got a momo steering wheel fitted, and also the light comes on when traveling over 70k's for about 20 mins or longer. Bloody HICAS!!! It must be better around bends at higher speeds otherwise it wouldn't have been fitted. Take it easy Mark

No Probs, if ever you need anything just give me a pm or a buzz on 0422 199 229. Im more than happy to chat. When I was younger I had to attent counceling once a week for almost a year and the most valuable thing they taught me was to get everything off my chest and talk to people. take it easy Mark
  4. The 85 Mercedes 190E in driving is making me happy for the time being Its some what different to my 32 although I can point out the positives. From its soft suspension to its quiet engine, you feel as though your on clouds and I offen think the car has stalled because the engine is so quiet. You don't feel any bumps and the 85kw's at the engine make it such a cruizy car. I think they shouldnt be driven when you are tired as you will most likely fall asleep

ofcourse thats true, these are things we can't change no matter how much i'd love to, and you would too. They difference is his concience did not stop him from doing what he did to his family, and I know from experience you can see what damage has been caused from him not caring. I know that us going through such hard times our concience would keep us far away from things like that.
  6. yes bloody sad!!!! ah well sad may get a make over (re-spray) hehe

Its something that stresses out people like you and me and I know 100% that you won't. You seem like the kind of person that cares and witnessing all the recent events would make you feel how can you do that to anyone. Some people just don't have a concious. take care Mark

Take it easy mate, my parents too divorced about 12yrs ago, he was always abusive, drunk and cheating. Think of the positives from the situation, my mum is happier now, she & I are stronger people and I know sure as hell I'll never be a father or husband like that. Not even in the slightest of ways. If you want to chat any time feel free to give me a yell. Look after your Mum be strong for her and take care of yourself! take it easy Mark
  12. In future ill make my car real low so I can go under them fast and the furious style! jk hehehe!
  13. well they do have a reputation of popping pills of all sorts! Tanx Ronin well I can be quite an understanding person and I am soft at times I apporached his truck and ripped open his door like a mad man although once I let it all out and he apologised and admitted fault I said sorry for going off my nut!!! Although anyone would do the same if their life was in danger. I know my baby will be back better than ever with fresh paint Its the inconvenience thats a killer! Although luckily my Grandfather is lending me his 85 Merc 190E to drive for a few months. take it easy all P.S i will get some pics a.s.a.p

  17. Luckydip: Im not sure, can you explain a little more, all i know is that they are 30mm's lower that the standard ones. take it easy Mark
  18. On HPI V2. there is a 32 gts-t stroked to 2.4ltr's and ofcourse with a large range of mods including a t04e and it runs a 10.02 qtr time on street tyres. From this example you can see that this turbo has alot of potential, I wonder what it would be like on an engine that is near stock? I was considering this option for my rb20 too, although im not sure how safe it is buying a second hand turbo kit. I was even considering the HKS GT-RS turbo, although I have no idea at the moment. All I know is I want something relatively responsive and something that will give you a rush like the one experienced the first time ever driving a skyline. take it easy Mark
  19. It would have had heaps spent on it, did you see Zoom magazine issue no.73 Obehave is on the front cover and it has 386kw's at the wheels!!! take it easy Mark
  20. heres a simple diagram of the incident...
  21. I believe it was a fuse, as when the car was towed to the pannel shop they got it started after they checked the fuses. I am going to get it towed again to a more local shop (Glen Waverly Pannels) on monday or tuesday as they are my insurances authorised repairer. I don't have a camera although I will try to organise some pics. take it easy Mark
  22. Last night I wrote a description of everything that happened while it was still fresh in my mind and drew up a simple diagram of what happened and also printed out a picture of what my baby looked like before that idiot rammed into me.
  23. I can understand that they are in such big vehicles, although for them not being able to see other vehicles on the road would make it un road worthy. Although they are sitting so high up which alows them to see alot more than in a car. I happy in a way that my car kind of stuck to the front of his truck because he dragged me about 10 meters up the road and I think he was trying to get away. Tell me you wouldn't notice a car stuck on the front of the truck. Take it easy Mark P.S Be careful on the roads, I consider myself lucky in this incident. He so easily could have pushed into my door when he decided to stop and I the it would have been serious.
  24. In my opinion drift is quite cool, although when some idiot claims he drifts and all he's doing are power slides out of corners it really pisses me off!!! In a true drift the car is sideways entering a corner, not just exiting. There is alot of hype about drift and it does have its anoying moments, although in times like those sit back and watch some d1 (the real stuf). I personaly would rather take my car to a track day than drift day as I believe more wear occurs drifting in all areas and there is also a greater chance of me damaging my car as I don't know how to drift, although most of us skyline owners will surely be able to power slide nicely take it easy Mark
  25. I still can't believe the accident, something similar happened with a mate of mine also. I do think that after he bumped me he did try to get around me to try and get away but because I was right there i got stuck to him. I would like to thank him for his inconvenience, now I could be without a car for 2 months or so. Take it easy Mark
