  1. Hi Guys, On Friday 17TH of September 2004, I was travelling through the Burnley tunnel at approximately 2:45pm-3:00pm. Due to an earlier accident everyone experienced delays and the original speed of 80km’s was reduced to 40km’s. I was travelling in the middle lane and I felt a bump in the back of my car, within a split second I did a head check to see what it was and before I could do anything a truck made impact with my car again, pushing me further up my lane on an angle. As I was being pushed further up in my lane I was forced sideways, with my (drivers) door facing the front of the truck. I repeatedly pushed my horn. The truck was merging into the middle lane from the right lane. The truck had come to a halt and I got out of the car and went over to the truck. Being as stunned as I was of the whole situation, I opened his door and said “What the hell do you thing you are doing?” he looked at me as though he didn’t do anything wrong. We then decided to move out of the way of other traffic and move into the right lane. That was unsuccessful as my car would not start. We then began to talk about what happened. He admitted to feeling a bump, and also not being able to see me. He told me his indicator was on and I said that my car was in front of his. I told him to look at my car as the damage has occurred to the rear, which implies that my car was in front of his. I apologised for the way I was feeling and said I have never been in an accident with someone before. I then asked if I could see his license and take down his details which I did, and in exchange gave him mine. During that period of time a witness approached me and gave me his name and mobile number, he claimed to have seen the whole thing. After that incident occurred a city link truck pushed me out of the tunnel and into the emergency lane where I waited for a tow truck to pick me up. Angelo from Melbourne Transport Service towed my car to Eurostyle Bodymaster where my car is currently kept. When I arrived to Eurostyle I then called my employer David Powell of Elders Insurance Limited and explained the situation to him. I have asked Eurostyle to provide a quote to fix my car.
  2. IM SORRY I WISH TO SELL THEM ALL TOGETHER I AM CURRENTLY AWAY FROM HOME THIS WEEK FOR WORK ALTHOUGH I WILL POST SOME PICS AS SOON AS I GET HOME. THANKS Mark
  3. maybe it could be a bush or something that may have been irritated a bit more with the much stiffer springs.
  4. thanks for the reply Roy they are second hand, my car isnt that low either. I have sent an e-mail this morning to a place called Track Right located in Dandenong an I think i might try and run my car down there. They are good, they helped me when I first bought my car with a negative camber issue on the front where the left side was 1.5 degrees more than the right due to a bent control arm.
  5. Thanks Roy and Sydney Kid for your input!!! I believe that the knocking is coming from the back left. I don't think its a buggerd shock as I have driven a 180 before with stuffed from coilovers and the front was wobbling big time. My mate who knew how to install them checked the something on the top of the strut tower, Im guessing that would be the "shock top nuts". The knocking is not so loud and doesn't do it on all bumps although I am not sure how to recognise if a bush is worn. Do you guy's think under these circumstances that the shock seems not to be the problem? Thanks Mark
  6. hi guys, I have the Tein's in and they are great, im still adjusting to how much bumpier the ride is, and how they came its actually allowed my car to sit a little higher which is always good for bumps and driveways Although over some bumps I can hear a knocking sound coming from the back shocks, they all feel firm and in working order. Could it be because they havn't been used for a while? Could there be anything wrong? Thanks Mark
  7. Thanks Warren, in return i'll do my very best to sell you the springs for as cheap as possible. (Even though I was anyway) would you like me to reimburse you with a cd if we do happen to meet up? thanks Mark

  14. Ive got the same blitz kit, its really good and only took me about 1 hour to install. In my opinion its effective as its avoiding engine heat a bit more, although I never thought that the length of the pipes would be that much to make a difference. I think its a very efficient setup but I am open to more information! take it easy Mark
  15. Hi guys As I have purchased a set of Tein coilover shocks, I urgently need to sell my King Springs which are approximately 7 months old. I will sell them full with my standard shocks so all you have to do is fit them straight on, and I will also give you my set of standard springs. The King Springs are known as Lows (not super lows) they are 30mm's or 3cm's lower than the factor springs. Feel free to give me a pm, reply or you can contact me on 0422 199 229. Thanks Mark
  16. I will sell the King Springs for $200 and I will give the standard shocks and springs for free!!!

  18. Hi p1r4t8r, just out of interest did Elders insure your car with or without other insurance? I recently started working for Elders in Melbourne about 2 months ago, and from what I have learnt that Elders can't offer the good prices unless they have supporting business. Although my boss can also act as a broker and find out what is the best. Take it Easy Mark P.S your Mum must be very proud, she also must be one of the coolest mums ive heard of to cruize in a 32
  19. Did you guy's hear that Skaiffe still ownes a r32 gtr in his garage. What does that say.... take it easy Mark
  20. On 3 occaisions I have used Optimax and during all three my car ran like shit, It also caused my cat to stuff up. I have used Ultimate and it seems great, although I always used Synergy without a doubt as its always been great with my car. take it easy Mark
  21. Lamba are you Officer Pettiet???
  22. A good idea is to write everything out that you could possibly think of on a piece of paper and see which one has more positives. You could also think of all the people that are into the import scene and would almost kill to own a crazy car like that even if they had to look at it in the garage for 3 months. Take care and make sure you think things through properly so then there is less chance of regrets. Mark
