thanks for the advice guys, I have come to the conclussion that the rb26 will be a waste of $$$ for my needs. I will also have to change my cooler and exhaust to suit. I could get a rb25 with gearbox and fit a hks 2540, injectors and power fc, without having to change my cooler and exhaust. do you guys think a rb25 r32 is worth it? i like the idea of the stronger gearbox too take it easy Mark

Hi Guys, I have a r32 gts-t that has 158.8 rw kw's at the moment and Im happy although Ive got that urge for more power. I was planning to buy a hks 2530 or 2535, some series 4-5 rx7 injectors, hks cams and few other lil bit for my current rb20. A mate of mine lent me a hpi mag that has a r32 gts-t with a gtr engine transplant. The engine was basically stock with a huge cooler and re-mapped ecu and at 14psi he had 230 rw kw's. An rb25 gearbox would be needed too. I think that the gtr engine option sounds mad, and having round 230 rw kw's is far from pushing that engine and the rb25 gearbox will hold up also. What do you guys recomend? Also if you know briefly what it will cost, please give me some idea. Thanks Mark

Hi, I have a r32 gts-t also that feels ok for my needs although I want to make it faster. I have a 3" front pipe, 3" high flow cat, 3 1/2" cat back exaust, blitz front mount ic, bleed valve set to 13 psi, bosch 044 fuel pump, exedy single plate clutch, chipped and re-mapped standard ecu. I have timed it wit a g-tec 0-100 and got 5.2 secs although I have never run it down a quarter. It has 158.8 rw kws at the moment. In the future I want to upgrade the turbo to a hks 2535 and 550cc injectors and hopefully break into the 200 rw kw mark. Hope that helps take it easy Mark

Hi buddy thanks for the reply, I replaced the stock wheel and im not sure about the sensor! I know i got a hicas compatible boss although I didn't see the sensor that must be the prob.

Hi guys, I put a momo steering wheel on my car just after christmas and I notice that after 15 min or so driving on the fwy the hicas light comes on and stays on untill the car is turned off again. what could the problem be and how could i fix it? Also I noticed the other day when I reach 75-80k's the steering wheel moves so its crooked. When I back down to 60ish it goes back to normal. Its only done this 3 times although its really irritating. what could the problem be? Has anyone experienced these things before? thanks Mark

Hi guys I have a external pump and surge tank in my boot and I too can often smell petrol. I havn't noticed any leaks in my boot at all so im not really concerned about that. Although sometimes I have noticed a little streak or two running down from the fuel cap above my wheel arch (hardly ever though). I have noticed that the smell was when I first got the pump done, and I havn't smelt petrol for a while now Mark

Hi guys, I will be in the market for a better turbo soon. I am considering all the kinds that I could get, such as - hks 2530,2535,2540 or trust td06 20g, garrett gt28, or a high flow.... I would like to have something that makes boost by 3,000-3,500rpms and pulls hard all the way to redline. I want to have 230-250 rw kw's on a high boost setting and 190 odd at a low setting which will be used 80% of the time. Anyone that has an aftermarket turbo on their rb20 please tell me: responsivness, power output, psi, and ofcourse what kind of turbo it is. Thanks Mark
