My car made the whistle sound yesterday for about 1-2 secs in the morning and this morning has not made it at all. I has definetly improved with the thinner oil. DCIEVE im running 11psi, and saving for a front mount for this summer

Hi chicane, I dont hear any more whistle noises!!!!! Yesterday I decided to do an engine flush, change the oil and oil filter, while is was doing that I thought i'd clean the air flow meter and filter. Even though I had changed the oil about 3,000k's ago I think the oil was too thick therefore being harder to mover around the engine when cold, I also noticed the engine note sounding abit more crisp Chicane let me know how ur prob turns out, Im still a lil supsicious about the belts and I'll probably get them changed soon. Take it easy

Im not sure bout the s14 turbos but anything over 13-14 psi the turbo on my 32 will go pop! I would run 11psi-12psi just to play it safe although its entirely up to you P.S the gt28 has an internal wastegate so it saves having to buy an external one and get it all fitted. Its similar to the hks 2540.

Go for a garrett gt28 they are a crazy upgrade for the sr20 and will handle 20psi day in day out no prob's! http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/prod31.htm Note they come in 400hp and 450hp applications. This is what im lookin at for my rb20

I thought about it being the turbo although the turbo starts spinning once the engine is started therefore the noise should occur straight away, also if it was the turbo it would make a noise constantly.

Its an apexi turbo back exhaust that came with the car. As far as I can tell its coming from the engine bay, although the noise doesn't stay long enough to pin point, although im guessing its comming from the exhaust side of the engine. Thanks Mark

Hi Guy's, I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this before. When I start my car first thing in the morning after about 10-20 seconds it makes a whislte noise. Although it never does this during the day or if the car has recently been driven. The whistle noise goes for about 3-15 seconds although I have never noticed it getting worse or making a louder or longer noise. It has been doing it for about 2 weeks now, and always when the car is cold in the morning. Although after work when the car is cold it doesnt do it. Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions??? Hi Guy's, Just the other day I was going to visit a mate and I poped into AutoBarn in Cranbourne to have a little browse. I went to get a cup for my boost gauge and I noticed alot of cool stuff there. I spoke to one of the dudes there and he said that AutoBarn is going to stock Blitz stuff permanently. They had a huge ***-off cooler kit with could be ordered for many import cars, bov's, gauges, pod's, exausts, turbo timers etc... In my opinion its pretty cool coz they neva had much shit for turbos's. GO AUTOBARN!!!! :uh-huh: Hehehe Take it Easy

My 32 idles on 650-700 and I find Mobil Synergy Works really well

Im more of a hip hop listener and love to cruize wit music such as Jarrasic 5, and usually wen my foot feels a bit heavy im listening to something bit more aggressive like 2pac, Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Mack 10 etc... Although Im not a "Doof Doof" hater either as I got a couple of cd's, I even have ub40 on cd and a Dean Martin tape hehe

Hi, Im not too far away from purchasing an intercooler for my car. Im considering getting it through greenline motorsports and they quoted me $1,411 for a trust kit including shipping. I wanted to know if any of you guy's have had to pay any hidden costs when the item arrives here? Is the cost of the cooler and shipping all I have to worry about? Thanks Mark

looks like a similar one although it says 320hp were the two gt28's a horsepower in an box say 400 and 450hp.
