  1. Hi mate, I got a mate that used to work at repco to contact nolothane which made the adjustable control arm bushes up for me. Make sure the mechanic puts em on properly. I have 18" and my front tyres are stuffed now. I then took my car to a place called Trackright in Dandenong and they fixed it up for me, they also do wheel alignments. Hope everything goes well take it easy Mark
  2. thanks for the advice guys, its a tough decision to make. so so so many options. even the hks gt-rs unit looks promising.
  3. looks cool, I wish I could have made it! take it easy Mark
  4. I hope to join the club very soon as in Jan-Feb I should have a power fc, gtr injectors, dump pipe, and hks gt-rs turbo. take it easy fellas and keep up the rb20 talk
  5. I have had the exact same problem, The HICAS can do this for a number of reasons: - Not enough power steering fluid - Wrong Boss Kit - It may be stuffed - Need a wheel alignment Although to my knowledge the most common of all is that the sensor is not set in the hole in the boss kit, or it is in the hole and it just needs to be secured.
  6. well I can say I dont slam gears and mistreat it, it has fresh oil and its only been in my car just over a year or so. When I first bought my car 2 years ago it had a button clutch and the gear box didnt feel very good. The clutch was already slipping although now is a fresh clutch (1yr) and gear box from wreckers that works a treat. In Jan/Feb im going to get a hks gt-rs, adjustable fuel reg, hks dump pipe and wolf 3d plug in ecu. Im hoping for some decent power. How does the rb20 feel with over 200 rw kw's??? I hope its damn good! take it easy Mark
  7. Ahh that sounds ok then. I have a single plate exedy heavy duty organic clutch which i dnt think will be too bad. Im aiming for 220-230 kw's on high boost and 190ish on a lower setting so the old gearbox should be fine then take it easy Mark
  8. Hi Guys, I have some near future plans for bigger turbo, fuel reg and ecu. I'd just like to know what is a safe power level for the gear box??? My gearbox feels firm and I want to keep it that way Thanks Mark
  9. thanks for the info guys it has put me off the gt30. its at www.horsepowerinabox.com.au thanks Mark
  10. what would you guys reccomend for around the same $$$ i have:ecu is a tuned rom, I have a turbo back exhaust although factory dump pipe, My fuel system is pritty much factor except for a bosch 044 fuel pump making heaps of noise in my boot. I have a excedy heavy duty single plate clutch, pod filter, and blitz lm type intercooler. The car is making 160kw's on 13psi which is getting boring and would like to make 220kw's or so in the future.
  11. its only $2,150 brand new!!!!!
  12. Hi guys, i just wanted to hear some feed back on this turbo and what it would be like on a rb20? they have now developed an interally gated one that is practically bolt on. thanks Mark
  13. Hi Roy, How responsive is it on a rb20? Im interested in one for mine although im frightened it will be a bit laggy. Some come internally gated, is yours? thanks Mark

  18. Thats ok im not getting cut outs, I think its a loose wire on the fuel pump although it also could be a bad earth for the ecu. At least now if it happens again I will know what to check out. Thankyou kindly for the advise guys! I really appreciate it... Take care Mark
  19. Yeah very luck although im worried it may happen again. I believe it could be a loose wire in the ecu loom, although the problem was that the fuel pumps wernt getting any fuel, so maybe the connections on my pump in the boot got a bit corroded being exposed in the pannel shop for so long. But then yet again i do have the factory pump which should of started any way. I don't know what to do
  20. good stuff mate cant wait to hear your results when you put the power fc in etc... take it easy Mark
  21. Hi Guys, I need some input, my car is now running!!! The ecu was placed back with the wires nice and firm, although i did fiddle with the two wires off the fuel pump. Im not sure what the problem was and I don't know what to do to ensure it doesnt happen again! thanks Mark
  22. Hi Al, thankyou for your reply, im stressing big time... The pump is external, I also have the factory intank pump too. Im sorry but i don't know how to check if it has power. The RACV guy had a pen gadget that lights up if it has power and the fuel pump didnt.
  23. thats great mate!!!! im thinkin of gettin one for my rb20. did you buy second hand? if so where and how much? it must be very responsive on your rb25, i heard its a lil laggy on rb20's take it easy Mark
  24. thanks for the input guys. if i really want to ill keep the receipt and if it isnt the bov i could bring it back, i buying it new anyway. Its a greddy type s take it easy Mark
  25. Hi Jason, I bought a blitz LM Type intercooler for my 32, which can support up to 600hp applications. It came as a kit for $1,600 with all piping, hoses, clamps and brackets. Only took an hour or so to install. One of the pipes goes under the cooler and meets with the other one in the stock position. Im my opinion this setup is good rather than the pipe going in the engine bay as its avoiding the engine heat. Although I don't think its makes much of a difference, it mainly comes down to personal prefference. Hope that helps Take it easy Mark
