    Buying A R35

The good news is that your transmission has the full suite of strenthening parts in it, so that any of the random failures you see on GTR transmissions from the FWD gear falling off through to the clutch baskets popping apart simply cant happen to yours. Look on it as a good insurance policy that doesnt need constant renewal So Martin, does that mean that ADM model does not have these, and is therefore a lesser gearbox?
  2. My experience has been quite the opposite. I had a floor mat that wasn't perfect and it was no trouble to get a complete new set of four, done in no time at all. As for track days, the dealership has taken me to two. They confirm track days are all good, oils must be replaced if cooked, at my expense. Otherwise they encourage it.
  3. My house mate drives both the 32 and 35 from time to time, her usual ride is a lancer.... (Tommi Makinen evo 6)
  4. I counted $54k in taxes on mine, GST, LCT and $10k in stamp duty (rego) Therefore I see the goverment as the problem.
  5. Pardon…. I don’t understand the question. To be honest, it is good, obviously no super car makes for economical or sensible motoring and was not a consideration for me, far too much passion involved. Some actual numbers, drive very gently and I saw 11.3 l per 100km with AC on over the xmas period. I think I saw Nissan quote numbers about 12l Give a kid a lolly pop to suck on and don’t remove the wrapper… No fun! When enjoying the drive I tend to see 14 – 18 l / 100km Drive hard (eg: track days) and it will use stacks, and I mean stacks more of course.
