  1. Hey guys, just going to give this a go. Im living in Brisbane and I have my R33 back home in NZ and i was wondering a few things. As it is my car already i wanted to know what the cost is to bring it over here. It has no Warrent of fitness, De-registered, and not certified. I know, the car sound's dodgy, but i left home in a hurry. With the things stated above, would i need to get it all fixed before bringing it over? or would i be able to import it, and then fix it over here? reason being, is that i don't want my car worked on without my supervision. cheers. *bugger Imported FROM nz*
  2. hey, you say it has a low km engine, does that mean the body has done more? any receipts?
  3. once i sell mine, ill take it off your hands for 8k (:
  4. back home in NZ the police are just a bit lazy, not to show off or anything, but my car was / is illegal as hell (for now) no certification for mods, 90mm off the ground and it had a loud 3" turbo back. the one thing stopping them from hating on me was my driving, i never boosted it just to show off, never overly sped (5-10km over at max) and my car looks tidy. on the other hand, my friends r32 has a never ending love for the gutter, whilst the red and blues check up on him. why? his car looks like a pig, but yet its fully legit haha.
  5. man thats super tidy, so much attention to detail. very nice work. personally i have no idea on price though sorry...
  6. Im from New Zealand, where we get our full licenses at the age of 16 and a half, before moving over i rang up the transport agency and they confirmed im eligable for my opens.
  7. As a 17 year old OPEN LICENSE driver, i respect what the government is doing, but they're definitely not doing it the right way.
  8. guessing you aren't in brissy? pretty keen on a r32 eh
  9. Could you send me pics of the r32 shell? how much aswell? and where abouts are you? cheers.
  10. Sh*t thats cheap! find me an r32 to go with it, and i'd be keen haha
  11. Left my liner back home in NZ, worst part was that my parents are driving it around! having massive withdrawals, every time i see a liner, all i want to do is pull out the maori inside of me and take it for a tiki tour but no, i am not a thief hahaha
  12. My widebody r33 gtst
  13. Im mirin' brah, good work.
  14. Hey man, im in Brisbane, birkdale to be exact. where are you? and what shell do you have? im interested, but have to wait until my R33 is sold back home in NZ which shouldn't take too long. PM me if you find it easier, cheers.
  15. next purchase? either a s13 or r32... I really want to get into a mechanics apprentiship, i just dont know where to go over here, and dont know anyone!
  16. interested, pics please...
  17. Hey, 17 year old male. Bought my widebody r33 skyline gtst about 3 months ago back in NZ. Since, moved to Brisbane, had to leave the liner back home and is up for sale. i know im a teen, but personally i agree that teens should NOT own a turbo rwd, reasons why; 1. in the first week of owning my liner i blew 3 pairs of tyres off the back 2. when first buying i learn't even though i only had 200kw it still loved to swing the ass end out, wet or dry. 3. FAR too many liners in NZ are owned by teens, then wrapped around the power pole a week later. but in saying that, in the short time i owned it, i definitely grew up. i learn't what my car could do, what it could handle and im able to apply my knowledge to any car i drive, turbo or N/A. Personally i will always be a import enthusiast no matter how young or old i am.
  18. Hey guys, title tells all... any chassis considered preferably r32 or s13. would like a rolling body / mechanically broken body. and possibly a low-ish Km body too. PM with your offers or post here. cheers
  19. Huh? why would i have a CA? i have a widebody r33 RB25DET back home, why would i downgrade to a CA? Haters gon' hate, potatoes gon' potate. if you dont like this idea then bugger off yeah?
  20. Yeah, but theres nothing like a dirty RB !!!
  21. Hahaha yeh thought someone would bring up the age thing, im from New Zealand, we can get our full licenses at the age of 16 and a half ;D I rang up the QLD transport place and they said i transfer straight to a open license. As for the swap, i know id have to mate a 25det box to a 26dett engine, anyone know of any decent custom shops around brissy? just want to go check with them about it and sus the swap out with them. cheers, Reagan.
  22. Anyone know anyone who does custom pieces for this set up? or is it easier to just convert a 26dett gearbox to rwd? this is for a s13 rb26dett cheers.
  23. I know theres quiet a few of these cheeky little rockets out there, and i want one for myself! SInce moving to Australia, from New Zealand i've had to leave my pride and joy at home Now, down to the build...i have to find a car first! Does anyone know the ups and downs of this conversion? Preferably wanting to keep it stock, for reliability reasons... Personally ive had a few bad encounters with previous and present RB's, Then again they all have been RB25DETS hence the reason for a 26DETT. Oh and i dont want to be a hassle, but does anyone have a firm idea of the "Queensland modification laws", as Im only used to NZ laws. Not bad considering im all of 17 years old Cheers.
