  8. Depends on what you arelooking for at the time. Gerald and co are cheaper so if itis a simply job then they are good value. If however the job is a complex one Ben is "The Man" in GTR's so I feel he is worth the extra bucks at this time. Mick.
  9. Yeah basically. It will wear componants out faster and on a track slow you down. With such power to the front wheels you will be getting plow understeer which massivlky slows you down. The one I built does not bring the wheels in constantly but it makes the attessa bring the front wheel in earlier on exit to a corner. Mick.
  10. I'm sure running it at that level wouldn't not do the cluches any good but it certainly would slow your times down considerably. Mick.
  11. 9/6 Holloway Drive Bayswater.
  12. I too will recommend race pace. Ben is without doubt "The Man" and knows his stuff. He is not cheap nor expencive and charges what his expertise is worth and when you are talking about such an expensive motor as an RB26 to rebuild I wouldn't take the chance. "A penny worth of prevention is better than a pound worth of cure".
  13. In my experience with GTR's on the circuit use good oil, over fill it by at least a litter and you should be fine on road tyres. To get any really lentgh of laps I find an oil cooler is definatly a good plus but as long as you watch the oil temp closely and are prepared to back off you should be ok. Mick.
  14. This would be my take on it as well.
  15. Out of shape how? Does he mean the housing or the wheels or what? You mention in your first posts that 3 and 4 plugs where covered in blakc whihc is fuel and shows that the car is running far to rich on these cylinders. Were the others bad but not as bad or where they ok? What are the air/fuel ratios like? Should be around 14.7/1 on idle and drop to around 10.5-12/1 when on boost. This is the first thing you need to know. As stated above the autronic tells you what signals it is sending but what comes out the exhaust is what actualy tells you what is happening. If it has fowled the plugs in 5000kms then this shows a problem. The plugs arn't the problem but your fuel ratios may be. Mick.
  16. I will vouch for the quality of the interior of BMT's car. I have seen it a few times and had a good look. It is pristine. Mick.
  17. Then that is the interior you want to model yours on if you do it. It is simply awsome. Nice car BMT. Mick.
  18. Do you haveblack tail light sorounds on a grey car?Mick.
  19. There was a grey 32 at Race Pace in Bayswater (melbourne) for a time that had the whole interior trimmed in leather and it looked sensational. He kept the same calor pattern but had grey and black leather. I would have taken the interior for mine in a heart beat. Mick.
  20. Yep good.
  21. Heath, Do u drive F3? Mick.
  22. For me the best is Race Pace in Bayswater (right near simon at Nizpro).
