I was in that group, there were a few kamakazi drivers there and almost got cleaned out by a few of them, he just happened to be the chosen one who pushed it too far and assumed wrongly. Packed up my stuff and left half way through the day after the incident as its not worth risking my car.

For the earlier comment about both drivers at fault::: Sorry mate but i disagree, yes the drivers are responsible for the damage but the accident was caused by one of them not both. If the overtaking car didnt drive like a tool and simply waited after the turn to overtake then the whole accident would have been avoided. He was in control of the situation with full visibility. In terms of the silver evo, nothing could have been done to avoid the accident other than the assumption that he would have checked all 3 mirrors and a blind spot before taking his own race line and even if he did see the overtaking car and kept to the outside of the turn, there would have been every chance that the dooshbag hero would have still understeered into him anyways on the way out.

Hey all Have heard a few good things about SAU especially the track days and thought I should join up and experience them for myself. My name is Ayman and I also use the forum name KLR18T on a few other sites. Current Car = Mitsubishi Evo 6 No mods yet other than upgraded pads and Tien springs. Best lap = 1.11 at Wakefield and hopefully be beating that during my next track day with NSCC.
