  1. Hi, I have a set of standard RB26DETT Head Bolts for sale, had a spare set left over after rebuild. Never been used also comes with torque spec sheet and thread lube.   3. Status tuning ever heard of pfc doing this? i have an old R32 Gtr mines computer at home (no idea whats on it) so im gonna plug that in and see if it happens again and that will diagnose what is the problem immediately

  6. I have a 26 loom and a guy on here used the original 25 loom to make it compaitble with the other stuff, installed injector dropping resistor an all that. anyway have come to the conclusion this is not common and somthing is way effed up and I shall pay a professional to fix my problems
  7. It has a PowerFC Connected, anyone heard of a PowerFc causing this sort of problem, im assuming possible wiring and getting a tuner to have a look anyway

Mine had 100,000km when i bought it and had some fairley serious damage mostly on the pump itself although the crank was still damaged. research i'v seen says hitting limiter does the real damage to it and when i took the front diff off the sump it had huge chunks of diff gears drop out with the oil so i assume there is some truth there.
  9. Hi, As heading states my rb26 has a powerFc connected, loom was custom made from 25 and 26 looms as the 26 is in an R33 gtst. Just got wiring connected and When i switched key to on (not start) the fuel pump pumped fuel into the rail and filled the cylinders with fuel because the injectors were fully open, not pulsing. there were no plugs in it and it sounded like after you flush the toilet the cylinders filled with fuel out the plug holes. Its Hopefully going to Pits performance on Tuesday but has anyone ever heard of this? think its the power Fc itself or wiring? Im going home tonight to disconnect the injector plugs and switch to on and see if it still happens.
  10. I have just finished my R32 Rb26 into R33 gtst, was good fun, lots of tears and didnt have the convenience of a half cut. I had to use Rb25 engine mounting brackets, might need those not sure if they are compatible with xmember? I know a guy in brissy who did my loom, send it to him he sends back modified to work, he is good and cheap BH_SLO32 on here. I definately agree with the above crank collar or atleast a new oil pump and check the collar. I just rebuilt.
  11. Hi, As heading states my r33 with a non running engine was broken into and they attempted to steal the car (Stupid enough to sit on the accelerator cable which was sitting on the drivers seat? LOL). neighbour said it was a Red VL Commador 1988 model. Lock away your imports as another car (Not running) in Labrador had the same thing same night same red VL! If anyone has had a similar incident please report it so we can catch the bastards! my 2 cents Thanks! Taylor.
  12. So is it possible that if i have put the lines the right way and reg is on return side after fuel has reached the injectors that they can be forced open if say the reg is stuffed?
  13. The injectors were plugged in with cas disconnected i assume they are stuck open or receiving voltage
  14. Because fuel came out of the plugs holes overflowing and the sump was also full of fuel afterwards. This is a brand new rb26 i have never put the plugs in it.

  16. on an rb26 the rails pressure reg is on the front of the rail itself before the injectors. the lines were reversed so the fuel went to all of the injectors first and stopped at the reg at the end and i assume couldnt get past the reg
  17. I assume it pressurised the injectors so much they leaked out the tip. fuel got into the cylinders through the injector tip. fuel pump didnt switch off once pressurised it just kept pumping and filled the cylinders in seconds
  18. Hi, I feel very stupid as heading states I hooked up fuel lines wrong way round. Just put my rb26 in my car and connected them up not thinking just so fuel didnt drip everywhere and to get them out of the way. I hooked up wiring and fuel pump and starter, I just wanted to turn it over after rebuild, turned key to accessory and fuel pump started. meanwhile i could hear a strange pressure building noise and quickly switched it off. very soon after i realised that fuel pressure had built and obviously couldnt get past the fuel reg and fuel passed through the injectors into the cylinders. Q 1. are my injectors going to be okay after that sort of abuse.? Q 2. is my fuel reg going to be okay? Q 3. will this effect run in and the hone job on the bores or the rings themselves? (Fuel was pushed out of cylindars within half an hour.) Q 4. Will I not know any of the above until I test each thing. Thanks Taylor.

  22. Hi, I have an R33 converted to RB26, had the engine loom made up and now I have a problem with gearbox wiring. I have an rb26 gearbox loom and an rb25 gearbox and need a diagram/information of litterally which plug goes where, I have hooked up the startermotor and the relays tick but starter doesn't do anything. Is there any trick eg. alternator must be connected to transfer power or somthing silly.... I'm not looking to start the car as yet I wanted to kick it over and see if it has oil pressure first, but a Guide to the rest would be helpfull aswell. BTW Also I have connected power to the loom but shouldn't the fuel pump come on at accessory for a few seconds? because it's not... Thanks!
