aahh oil rings are gone, down around 40rwkw, have 164rwkw, mid jan am doing a rebuild, putting in forgies and metal head gasket, should be a stronger engine afterwards

uummm can comeover and check mine if ya like, i didn't use the support bar came right off bolted on the sides panel, had to trim the lights a bit, where the support bit is for the grill, have two support bars coming straight from underneath the cooler to the chasis to the front bar for stabilisation, works well a bit loose as i keep snapping the bar off the kit, yes i raised it its still a bitch though

at the moment looking just at forgies as i talked to blackwood dyno tune, and he said that the engine can easily handle up and over 300rwkw, with just forgies, so it looks like just that and maybe a metal head gasket

am doing a rebuiild in the next 2 months apart from fixing the prob i have all the upgrades im looking at doing is forge piston, as the internal of the engine can easily handle 300rwkw no probs at a safe limit, so this is fine for me as i don't want more 250rwkw shuey

ok so i got leaking rings right so i got a loss of power which is not good, sdo im looking at replacing the rings but while im there i wanna know what other people think i should be replacing as well, i had a modest 200rwkw engine in itself is stock but alot of bolt on bits , eg 3.5" turbo back, 3" intake, 2.5" stainless steel cooler piping GTR custom intercooler, unichip, boost cut defender, boost controller, thats all power wise what would you recommended to do? im only looking at a possible 250rwkw ( at most for now) was thinking new rings (of course) prob standard nissan ones (any thing better??) and prob forged pistons (maybe not sure if i need it or thats going to far???) what do you recommend i do or what parts do you reccomend i need to sustain a longer life engine, with increased power? i know this has prob been covered before but the search didn't help me that much

personally i don't like the 180 trun around in air flow as i just cut a hole under neath the relay box bit more heat but then i ot ss piping, an exhaust shop can do it for like a 300 bux, but then that mild steel which doesn't conduct heat very well and no clamps and stuff included. evan usually does ss and high tension clamp and hose, the best sh1t around, have a chat to him cool bloke tells you as is no sh1t involved
