after further research i discovered that the CVs apparently come off the ends, but i couldnt get them off, and the reason i was doing this was to run RWD while getting my CVs rebuilt, which was the impression i was under that i could do that. None of the pictures in this thread loaded up either, so that might have added to the issues

I dont mean to be rude but this was useless for me, my c34 wasnt set up like this at all. There were 6 bolts on the passenger side and a plate held on by about 10 or so on the drivers side. After we did figure out hosto remove these, and took it for a drive, i discovered that without the front driveshaft in there the hub bearing works its way out and the hub then becomes loose. If theres a way to solve this, please let me know, otherwise i can't see how anybody runs their stageas in rwd.

Going to be giving this a go tomorrow, seems fairly simple, will report.

The What Do You Put In The Back Of Your Stagea Thread?
HousewifE replied to PN-Mad's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I can carry really light things like pillows. Or a big bag or feathers. Anything heavier and it scrubs hardcore in the rear. -
Thanks mate.
-
Yeah will the newer calipers have a bigger bolt or the same as the 33 rears?
-
Correct me if i'm wrong, but from what i have read online, 34 and 33 brembos are the same, and therefore gtr34 brembos should bolt up to my s1 all the same? Edit: will a 324mm rear rotor and caliper off the later model gtr34's bolt up the same? or will i need dogbones to suit the bigger rotor?

I'm down for a meet if it's planned for a day I'm home from work. -
sweet, if i have any issues with it, ill swap it out, but i figured it would be fine, just wanted to check with knowledgeable people.
-
awesome, thanks heaps mate.
-
thanks for that, anyone have any insight into upgrading the master cylinder going from stock s1 brakes, to 33 brembos?
-
Will gtr33 rear brembos bolt up to a series 1 stagea like the fronts will?
-
thanks for the help guys
-
Hey guys, as far as fitting brembos goes, im looking at going for 33gtr fronts, just wondering if it requires anymore than a dogbone and custom lines? And also the legality of braided brake lines. I also plan on running a larger rotor to suit.

I run 18x9.5 +12 on my s1, with 10mm slip ons on the front, ive rolled my guards all round, although have quite a lot of camber, if your're prepared to go quite low, they fit well. -

Mine didnt come from ebay but that looks to be it, i had to trim down the sides as they came about 80-100mm past the end of the front bar, other than that, a heat gun and a few extra screws and it fits great. -

Just re-checked the thread to see a few replies to my pic, definitely not garden edging, its actually a subaru lip, but fits well enough for me not to go through the stress of trying to find a stagea one i liked. Went out the other day and my mate took a few more pics of it, here's some of my favourite ones. Also in that last pic, my wheels aren't quite straight, which im quite upset about, so no, the offset isn't out at the front -
Stagea Front Lip, Where To Buy In Sydney
HousewifE replied to Touge_RBS13's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
You'd be surprised how well this lip fits, it does take a bit of play to get it perfect, but it stumps everyone when they realise how difficult it is to get a stagea lip. a skyline lip may have been a closer fit, but again, this one fit surprisingly well. And yes, i do have a dayz kit, its all genuine plastic, although im not sure if non-days models have the clips available in the sills to mount the days skirts, someone should be able to clear that up though.
