  1. alright, guess i have nothing to worry about
  2. hi all, recently bought the car. it has a drift iridium (digital) boost gauge. ad idle its reading -18psi. is that a normal/correct reading, or is the gauge malfunctioning. for some reason i think it should be reading less. the car is pretty much bone stock mechanically save for a CAI, exhaust, intercooler, boost controller (running stock boost level). forgive me for my ignorance, its my first r33. thanks
  3. Hi all, so after some searching and going around looking at several skylines. i took the plunge and did it, picked up an r33 gts-t. damn does it feel good to be part of the club. i get the feeling that i'll be spending a lot of time on this forum over the next little while. after barely having it for a week i am already starting to think "mods" its like a drug. this is my first turbo car, i can from canada, back home i went through several camaros/trans-am's over the years and they were fast... but something about the turbo just makes it so addicting to drive.

    Insurance

so far i've been getting rates around $1000 for full coverage, and $350 for third party, firs, and theft. and those rates are damn good in relation to what i am used to back home. If you want to talk about busting out lube, then go live in ontario canada for a while. if you're under 25 you'll be paying around $2000 minimum for the most basic coverage on any old regular 4 cyl 4 door crappy little beater. but once you turn 25 rates would drop to around $1k for full coverage.

  7. Hi all, I am looking to buy a R33 GTS-t. manual shift. fairly decent condition. no specific mods I am looking for. preferably one that has passed, or will pass a RWC. price range around the $9000 mark. I am located in the Gold coast. Looking to buy locally simply because i dont currently have any kind of vehicle to get to the vehicles. which is a shame, as there seems to be a few nice ones slightly beyond my grasp. feel free to email: [email protected] or call/txt: 0452336588 thanks.
  8. thanks for the help. i searched common issues and problems and i was just getting articles in the technical section.
  9. Hi all, looking into purchasing a mid 90's R33 GTS-T. just wondering if anyone could shed some light on any common issues with these cars, or anything to look out for when i go looking around at them this weekend? thanks.
  10. Hi, so i recently moved out to the gold coast from toronto canada. and i am fairly new to the world of skylines. its a car i've always wanted, but never really had a chance to get one back home, as they are a rare commodity over in that end of t world. I am looking at getting a mid 90's R33 GTS-T. as i dont have much personal experience with these cars i was looking for some input on any common issues, or things to watch out for that may be particular to these cars... and where better to ask than a forum filled with owners. thanks in advance, and i cant wait to join the club.
