Ive done a look around and found that S15 manual with helical cut diff is the exact same part # as a GTR with diff centers and it has a 3.6 ratio. Any idea if the crown wheel and pinion will work in my gtr diff?

Hey guys, struggling to find some infomation about putting 3.5 or there abouts diff ratios in my GTR diff. So story goes I have a R32 GTR rear diff in my 180sx with a 2 speed glide with a KAZZ 2 way diff center fitted. It currently has 4.11 stock gearingit and im wanting to put around the 3.5/3.6 in it. I have access to a R34 GTR V-SPEC active LSD diff which is 3.5 ratio. Now my question is will the crown wheel and pinion from that fit into my R32 GTR diff? Or any other infomation about going to a lower diff ratio would be MUCH appreciated Thanks.

^ as an example i have used a couple on some rb26's. R32 gtr- precision 6262 with T4. 84 split rear housing, 98 pump fuel, stock bottem end with drop in cams made 545rwhp on 22psi. ( fuel system had maxed out) R32 gtst with a rb26- precision 6266 with T3. 82 rear housing, completely stock head and stock bottem end 570rwhp 29psi on e-flex

Hey mate I've got the perfect guy that does conversion wiring, 1 day turnaround and no need to take the car to him all you need to do is take the loom, very resnobley priced also. although he's located up near redbank plains, if your still Intrested swing me a pm.

Rebuild is on par with a brand new turbo, don't bother.

Ya get ya goods and ya bads, had an eBay T28 on a lancer and had no problems for lasting 120,000 k's, only reason I removed it as i thought it was getting smokey, but turned out it wasent the turbo.. Rather the motor :| But then on the other hand my mate had an eBay T70 on his commodore ute.. He went through 2 in a week, then just bought a Garrett 35r, so being cheap sprung him nearly the price of 2 genuine turbos lol. Just lucky really,

Id consider "in fair condition" as pritty shit, But that price is fairly high for something like that if it was only a catback in that condition. I've been to there shop and a few mates have bought parts from there and haven't had a problem. But I can understand your pain with the lack of communication, nothing more frustrating.
