  1. Well I finally got my Protech car cover from the States and I'm very happy with it. The sizing is spot on and the cover fits really well. It is pretty well water proof - we've had some wild rain up this way and when I pull the cover back she's still dry underneath. There is a soft finish on the inside and comes with a cable and lock to secure it to your car - enough to stop someone ripping it off in a couple of seconds anyway. I'm on the coast and every now and then the winds get pretty big and were getting under the car and inflating the cover like a balloon over the bonnet area as this bit isn't as snug as the rest. A bit of rope around the back of the front wheels and up under the windscreen stopped all movement. Good as gold
  2. Yeah Duncan with the amount of posts he has he's obviously a big contributor to the forum, not likely he's shot through especially considering he's sent everyones mat bar two. Just don't like sending money off that disappears without a word, hopefully Chuckie is alright and hopefully mats are on their way.
  3. Yeah looks like it mate. Maybe someone who received their mat has a return address? PM would be greatly appreciated
  4. Thanks for the tip mate, I'll get onto them.
  5. Maybe a Mines modified ecu? I have one in my RS4S and it swings well past the last numbers. Unless the speedos way out I'm guessing they've removed the speed limit function.
  6. So who is still waiting for mats that have been paid for? Just Midnight-Runner and me? Anyone heard from Chuckie on any part of the forums? No updates on the thread and not replying to PMs. Last active date is kept private.....
  7. Stagea manual in printed form or cd/download? Where do I get one?
  8. Me too....
  9. Nice, looks like a pretty good fit - heavy duty too. I couldn't find a smaller size than the Holden Dunnydoor wagon one they offer so I ordered a Protech cover from the States. Shipping just about doubled the cost but it's still pretty much in line with the Autotechnica ones retail anyway, hopefully the quality is as good. I'll post up some pics too once it arrives.
  10. They may have had one on there but I was looking on their website. Yeah I sent them an email and am just waiting for a reply. Would be nice to be able to get Australian made if the price is reasonable.
  11. That'd be great, yeah it's a shame they only seem to make the full size one now. Just out of interest I've been sending out some queries and the biggest quote I have received so far is $595AU, admittedly that's a full custom cover but damn.... One I did find interesting was $90US from Protech car covers, comes with cable lock and 3 years warranty. Kind of a PITA to claim warranty overseas but the price seems pretty reasonable for what looks like a good cover. Still waiting on more replys so anything else interesting and I'll post it up.
  12. I'm after a Defi BF oil pressure gauge, amber, metric, 60mm. In new or as new condition. Pointers in where to go or who to ask would also be greatly appreciated.
  13. Thanks guys some good info. I'd like to have a wagon profile to get the best fit but it appears autotechnica only do a full size wagon.... Might have to try a kenko like QJQ's. Seems like it's going to be tight though as it looks quite snug on the 35 and the 34 is a bit longer.
  14. Hey rosella do you remember which size you got? Sedan or 4wd profile?
  15. Just throwing this out there - found a car cover you're really happy with? Been doing some shopping around as the Stagea gets parked for a week at a time out Western QLD - windy, dusty and hot. Tried a few from the usual retailers but they're all too big! A poorly fitting cover can do as much damage as the elements so if you have one or know of a well fitting one then let us all know
  16. Might be a bit more than you want to spend but they're $100 brand new from Nissan
  17. Yep it should die off, I know a bloke whos fan clutch shagged on an old Fairlane and would hardly turn at all so he had a go at welding it solid - drove off down the road and sounded like an old warplane getting ready for take off.
  18. Oh ok, the Stagea end won't go onto my Alcons. I was hoping the length would be the same as R34 so I could order some lines pre made. I'll just have to take the Stagea line and the old Alcon line in and get some custom ones made up. Thanks for the info mate
  19. Is that because the length is wrong Ray or because the ends are different?
  20. I've just finished reading the brake thread I need a lay down.... A quick question for those that have fitted 33/34 GTR front brakes or know for sure - were the GTR brake lines the right length for the Stagea? Need to try and find new lines for the Grex Alcons.
  21. Cheers Spong will do Daleo - PM to follow mate
  22. Thanks Spong that's aweome I'll try to pick up a key over the weekend and give it a go
