  1. After falling in the water with my keys in my pocket I rinsed them in metho and allow to dry which kind of worked - I can now unlock with the remote but can no longer lock. Put a new battery in it just incase but still no joy. I'm assuming the little switch on the circuit board is buggered and it seemed to me to be a fairly easy circuit to test but none of the electronic shops I've talked to are interested in having a look at it. I spoke to Nissan and they tell me the key is no longer available (anyone with FAST able to check?) Sooo my next move was going to be buy a second hand key from Japan and remove the circuit board from it and then install into my key and then somehow synch the new electronics in my key to my car. What do you guys reckon? Doable?
  2. Chuckie you been getting my PMs man? Haven't heard from you... Have you sent a mat my way yet?
  3. Thanks guys , will give the Motul a go as I use that brand in my bikes and it seems to do the job well Your right though BKR - it's not cheap...
  4. Hi guys, Great forum you have here, let me start by saying I have done my (countless) searches on driveline oils for my series 2 RS4S and would like to run it by the gurus to let me know what you think. From what I can gather my driveline is basically the same as a 33GTR so after going through all the info I have come up with the following products for a service: Engine - undecided... Gearbox - Castrol Syntrax 75W - 90 T/Case - Castrol Transmax Z Attessa - Castrol Transmax Z Rear Diff - Castrol SAF - XA Front Diff - Castrol Syntrax 75W - 90 Power Steer - Castrol Transmax Z Any glaring issues? Would like to keep with one manufacturer for simplicity but not 100% required. Thanks guys and apologies for yet another oil thread but hoping this one will be nice and simple and handy for others as well

Hi guys, Thought i'd say g'day before raising a new thread. Just got a 99 RS4S imported and after having a few old school type cars (XWGT Replica, XYGT Replica, Valiant hardtop etc) I've gotta say I'm bloody impressed with the handling! Bought as a bit of a family car with some zap but punching it through the corners I keep forgetting it's a station wagon! Going to be lots of fun for sure. It came with aftermarket suspension and some nice forged wheels and I have a Dayz bar, brembo rears and Alcon fronts coming for it as well so plenty to do.....
